Should Iran develop a nuclear bomb their plan is to load it onto a rocket and detonate it just off the East coast. The resulting EMP would devastate the infrastructure of the entire Eastern seaboard.

They’ve been launching rockets off ships in the Caspian Sea for a while. They go straight up and detonate. Iran claims the launches “failed” but just getting it in the are is all they need.

If I were President no Iranian ship would get within 500 miles of our coast.

That’s what we get for not insulating the infrastructure against a large pulse. Not like it couldn’t be done; but the politics in the country right now are just plain absurd and the possibility of any such kind of attack is just brushed aside mentally by who are supposed to be leaders.
