Part Two of catching up with my back log of missing AARs.
As mentioned in Part One, a very good way to remember and honor our Marines, soldiers, sailors, airmen and coasties who have given their lives over the past 2 centuries is by getting caught up on the AARs for Olney, MD’s Support the Troops Rallies during this Memorial Day Weekend. Part of the freedom we have is being able to stand on any corner in America and have the freedom to express ourselves. The patriots in Olney stand to give voice to our military against those who scorn and disrespect our brave military.
The month of April. Fair weather all around, at least in the sun. In the shade there is still a chill. A perfect month except for the “April showers” that did not fall (I actually had to water the grass and strawberries), and the moonbats rounded up 4 of their ilk for two Saturdays.
WEEK 324, April 07,2012
Eight, count them, 8 patriots this week include Veterans Glenn (USMC - WWII), Halsey (USMC - Korea), Carl (Army- Vietnam) and [Mrs] T (Army - early 70s), along with Lurker Bill, Fraxinus, GunsAreOK and myself.

WEEK 325, April 14,2012
Six patriots this week include Veterans Martin (Navy - late 50s), Lurker Jim (Army- Vietnam), Carl (Army- Vietnam) and [Mrs] T (Army - early 70s), along with Lurker Bill and myself.
The moonbats actually had 4 today. This was a big surprise for us.
BELOW LEFT: Carl with a lighted coat on than last week. Must be getting warmer. Actually he said that he over dressed last week. BELOW RIGHT: Martin makes it this week. He cannot make every Saturday but he said that when he does, he really enjoys himself.

WEEK 326, April 21,2012
We were back up to 8 patriots this week. They include Veterans Glenn (USMC - WWII, Iwo Jima), Lurker Jim (Army- Vietnam), Carl (Army- Vietnam) and [Mrs] T (Army - early 70s), along with patriots Lurker Bill, Fraxinus, GunsAreOK and myself.
Beautiful day, mostly short sleeves. We had a special visit this Saturday from a mother and her 5 year old son and 3 year old daughter. They have driven by numerous times, the kids waving frantically from the back seat. Today when they got home the son quickly put on his camo shirt and pants, grabbed his small American desk flag and asked his mom to take him to see us. At age 5, he wants to join the military like his grandpa. He even had a pretty good salute. I stressed that he needs good grades in school and has to be good to be in the military. Before they left we gave his sister one of our small flags. Heart warming visit. Sorry, no pictures.

WEEK 327, April 28,2012
, big week this Saturday. With the White House Correspondence Association dinner later today, lots of FReepers we warming. Kristinn was able to make to DC today for the Olney Rally and later today, the WHCA dinner. Both were considered a success.
We were blessed with 11 patriots this week. Veterans were Glenn (USMC - WWII, Iwo Jima), Halsey (USMC - Korea), Lurker Jim (Army- Vietnam), Cindy_True_Supporter (Army- 60 & 70s) and [Mrs] T (Army - early 70s). FReepers include Lurker Bill, Fraxinus, GunsAreOK, Kristinn, Tolerance Sucks Rocks and myself.
While it was in the 60s today, this early it was still chilly and damp with the sun shining only occasionally.

Today was like home coming. Over whelming number of patriots, good times with Lurker Bill’s music, and everyone just having a great time. What a way to close out the month of April.
There were 4 moonbats out today. One has to wonder what they think, week after week, hearing and seeing our too numerous to count honks and waves from passing supporters, our music (They hear it because there are a couple of Big Band tracks and we can see them tapping a foot to it), and just the good times we have. And we have not miss a Saturday since 2007 and of course 2009's snow-mageddon. But for snow-mageddon we put up a banner the day before so we really were there in spirit.

On this Memorial Day Weekend, as you gather with friends and family, please remember our Soldiers sitting in Leavenworth. I am continually amazed at how many Americans are not aware that we have Heroes incarcerated in Leavenworth for killing the enemy. If you will, please forward this email out and if you get near Gov Romney, please ask him if he will show the same compassion and courtesy to our American Sons as Obama has shown the terrorists! I believe one of the best ways to honor our Fallen Heroes is to continue to fight for their Brothers.

Michael Behenna is serving a 15 year sentence (originally 25 years) in Leavenworth for killing a known Al Qaeda terrorist. Michael's mother is an Asst Federal Prosecutor, Mike's dad has been in law enforcement throughout his life. Michael isn't the only Soldier sitting in Leavenworth. There are others. These American mothers cry themselves to sleep at night! Why does this administration show more compassion and forgiveness toward Iraqi/Afghan mothers than the mothers of America's Sons?! Why is this administration releasing terrorists who agree to sign a Pledge that they won't return to the battlefield, yet our Sons sitting in Leavenworth are not given the same Pledge?!!
Below are many articles on the release of terrorists in what this administration refers to as “catch and release.” With all my heart, I hope President Romney will pardon these men or at the very least, give them the same Pledge to sign as the terrorists, and release them! What is good enough for the terrorists should certainly be good enough for our Brave American Sons! I believe if Gov Romney would speak to this issue, he will win the “hearts and minds” of every Patriotic American! Americans are tired of seeing our Troops mistreated and disrespected by this President who does nothing but appease and placate this brutal enemy we are fighting.
Sgt Michael Patrick Leahy, Purple Heart and Bronze Star recipient, is from Illinois and this highly decorated Soldier is one of our Sons sitting in Leavenworth. My Son served 4 tours with the 82nd Airborne, he is a Bronze Star recipient from Illinois. He is out of the Army now and I am grateful for that. As much as my family loves and supports our military, I do not encourage any young person to serve under this Commander-in-Chief. His dangerous and reckless policies to appease this enemy continue to result in the killing, maiming and incarceration of our Sons!
Afghan/Iraqi mothers are rejoicing at the release of their terrorist Sons while our American mothers/wives cry themselves to sleep at night! I will not stop fighting for these Soldiers until they all come home! What is good enough for the terrorists and their mothers should certainly be good enough for America's Sons and their mothers!
