Allow and encourage 300,000 acres of forest/watershed to burn and then close the area off... Instant road closure! The head of the Gila NF is Ms.Kelly M. Russell, formerly of the CA Klamath NF, where road closures are in place now.

I guess if the FS/USDA cannot get their agenda 21 way then fire will be encouraged at the worst possible times (record drought and predicted high winds).

“why was this closed and when will it open? I had plans for the Gila...”

The Gila was closed because it is considered an “island” in a “corridor” of migratory animals. The Forest ‘Service’ decision to burn the forest was a libtarded choice in order to ‘restore’ said “island” and “corridor”. The damage is done. Flooding is now the concern.

Between the Wallow Fire and this fire, I may have to moove East into the plains....

"Whitewater Baldy Complex Closure"

This is surprising. So Webb Hubbell had a bit of a receding hairline ... there was no need for him to develop a complex ove it.

But at least he has closure now. I wish Webb the best of luck, and hope that he can reunite with his daughter Chelsea someday.

Looks like some of the lower, Turkey Creek and Gila River areas are open. There is more than enough beautiful land there to keep someone busy for awhile. It should be loaded with animals that fled the fire. ...Not saying the fire and road closures are a good thing, just that there are still adventure opportunities there.

Big fat laughing here... oh, that’s great.

Exactly, I thought this had somethin’ to do with that WW.

Now I have to read up on your reference. Having only 24 hours a day, I devoted the full 20 minutes to WW years ago then, having surmised the basic gist of things, had all I needed to know. What I like about cutting short my detailed knowledge is that there’s always some over-the-top atrocious thing to discover now and then. The Clintonistas/New Left... it never ends.
