Not among my Norse Ancestors, certainly. However, there are still people, even today, who think modern cosmology is wrong.

If anything, this proves my main point... It doesn’t matter how many people hold a WRONG belief as fact, it’s still wrong. Facts are stubborn things and cannot be voted out of existence.

What the Collectivists fail to understand is that small businesses have already paid their way. For example, through RE taxes, fuel use taxes and excise taxes (12%), those roads have been paid in full. That teacher received a paycheck and benefits for his/her services.
The ‘Progressives’ attempt to sow seeds of guilt for earning success only falls on the fertile soil of the ignorant. There is half of this country that believes they are owed more than they’ve earned.
‘To each according to their ability, to each according to their need.’
Why work?

Chuck Todd is right, as far as it goes. But what every last moron who supports “collectivism” actually believes is, “What’s mine is mine, and what’s yours is mine, too.” Count on it. As Dear old Dad always said, “Once the parasites outnumber the hosts, it’s all over.” I fear we have breached that point. The Democrats have won.

The next election (House and Senate, mainly) absolutely will determine if America truly is dead as a doornail.

If our freedom hangs upon an election, I’m sorry to say then that our freedom is already lost to the inevitable despotism of democracy.

A paid army will always out endure an army of volunteers. This is as true in warfare as it is in voting. with the welfare state the Democratic base is a paid army, an army paid with the dollars compensated from our wallets.

They have little else to do but campaign and vote to get themselves more of our money and invariably freedom.

America is dead and gone. The final nail in the coffin was the 2008 election of an African communist as President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. America had a great run. Remember it fondly for what it was. There’s no point hanging onto the past.

The United States of America is now little more than a land mass populated by cretins, ingrates, and parasites who have absolutely no respect for the military and who vote for big government to confiscate money from their neighbors so that it may be “redistributed” to them in exchange for their votes. It is not an America worth defending anymore. That America no longer exists.

The parasites outnumber the hosts now, and there’s no going back. The Democrats have won.

(shrug) Nothing lasts forever. No point crying or whining about it. Throw some cold water in your face and go to ‘Plan B’. Figure out how to grab every government dime you possibly can before the parasites gobble it all up. Look for angles, look for refuges, get under the radar and game the system. Every man for himself. Good luck, everybody.

FRegards,
LH

Chuck Todd: Half This Country Believes In Collectivism

Wow. There's a surprise.
I guess we all can't help wondering why.
It's really puzzling.
In the theoretically least progressivist country in the world.
There must be an explanation.
Let me think.

It can't be that complicated.
Wait.
'OMG!
Don't half the adults in the US PAY NO INCOME TAXES?
Might there be a connection?
Hmmmmmmm.
Let me think...

D'OH!!!

Don't keep digging.
He was persecuted by claiming that the earth revolves around the sun, rather than vice-versa.

I would also say that you are understating the percentage of freeloaders, since public schooling is a form of welfare.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

EXACTLY!

“Public” socialist-entitlement K-12 schooling was our nation's first welfare program...and...it only took one to three generations of compulsory socialist-entitlement schooling to produce Woodrow Wilson and Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Children who attend socialist-entitlement schools ( mislabeled “public” schools) risk learning that any voting mob powerful enough to give them tuition-free schooling is powerful enough to give them **LOTS** of “free” stuff!

What sets my teeth on edge are conservatives who believe that socialist schooling can be reformed. Nonsense! It must be abolished! Completely!

By the way, government owned and run schooling has never been religiously neutral because a neutral education is **impossible**! Currently, our nation's government schools are godless. The children who attend **WILL** learn to think and reason godlessly. They must just to cooperate with classroom and school policies. How could it be otherwise?

While your Plan B does seem somewhat prudent, as is your grim prognoses of the situation. I am not without hope of a rebirth of liberty & Constitutional law(limits) maybe here among the ruins of the old Constitutional Federal republic. Perhaps more likely elsewhere among those States who’s populations by in large still believe in liberty facilitated by a successful scheme of secession/revolution.

You see while much of our population has demonstrated themselves so universally corrupt & criminal in their respect for the rights of other men to permit peaceful coexistence under a democracy(what a shocker *rolls*).

There does remain certant sections of our former Constitutional Federation still dominated by those with virtues & respect for liberty enough to be worthily of calling our countrymen. I say if we can take those states and bring to them the surviving patriots of the north we can together find a way to cut ourselves lose in a revolution from the corrupt bit of our population and start anew.

Then maybe in 50 years after the leftist have destroyed themselves our free posterity might reclaim the land they once occupied while carrying on the free constitution they disregarded.
