Marmon and Berkshire own IMPulse, a transit-manufacturing firm, located in Mount Olive, North Carolina. IMPulse received or directed numerous construction projects that received millions in taxpayer-funded stimulus money. Among others, those projects include:

A $485.8 million contract that was awarded for the extension of the Metro Gold Line from Pasadena to Azusa A San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) infrastructure project worth $67 million in ARRA funds The Portland streetcar eastside loop which received $75 million in funds

The value of the projects that IMPulse Manufacturing received total nearly $1 billion in American Recovery Reinvestment Act funding.

...*snip*.. Richard Richman, chairman of the Richman Group. In September 2010, the Richmans held a $30,000 a plate fundraising dinner for Obama in their 20-acre estate in Greenwich, Connecticut. They also donated $50,000 to Obama's inaugural. In total, the Richmans have bundled $1,073,750 for Mr. Obama.

And what did they get in return for their fundraising efforts? Richman Group’s Balton-Douglass Park--a $100 million mixed use, mixed income development which will hold 226 apartments in central Harlem--received a $21 million subsidy through the stimulus.

*snip*

Mark Gallogly also came up a big winner in the Obama bundler-a-thon. In total, Mr. Gallogly has bundled $903,834 for Mr. Obama. Gallogly serves on the board of Dana Holdings Corp., a manufacturer of drivetrains and other industrial parts.

And I've omitted the council appointments, ambassadorship, committee appointments, State Dinner invitations, presidential boards and other White House posts.

Must read it all to get the big picture of this massive, despicable, political thievery of our billions as they arrogantly reduce the nation to poverty and dependency. Repulsive, brazen criminals and crooks!

Pay to play is the essence of the Democrat Party. Taxpayer money is stolen. A tiny group of elites are made rich.

The Democrat Party is is a criminal enterprise that uses the power of government to steal the earnings of honest citizens. If America is to survive, the Democrat Party must be defeated.

I agree with you except for one point.

I don’t think this is limited to just one party, nor just the ruling elite. This is how things work throughout our society.

The reason we have corrupt leaders is that much of our society is corrupt. From the Mayor down to the garbageman.

“The reason we have corrupt leaders is that much of our society is corrupt. From the Mayor down to the garbageman.”

I must differ. If the American voters had kept government within the carefully crafted bounds of the Constitution, taxes would be low and there would be little money for government to waste.

” the extension of the Metro Gold Line from Pasadena to Azusa A San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) infrastructure project worth $67 million in ARRA funds “

Uhhh, how is it that a San Francisco Transit Agency is overseeing a rail project in Los Angeles?

This crap needs to be illegal. Spending private money to lobby your Representative (not overlord) is one thing, this kind of stuff in any government is pure bribery.

The droning sound of “Oh, they ALL do it” does not
cover the rottenness and corruption of the Democrat Party.

IIRC Pritzer is the person facilitating the thirty five million dollar house purchase in HI for the O. Wonder if it’s title will be held by attorney and owned by his trust?

The droning sound of “Oh, they ALL do it” does not cover the rottenness and corruption of the Democrat Party.

I don't remember even saying "ALL", and by DEMOCRAT, I assume you mean the SOCIALIST party.

I wasn't trying to 'cover' the rottenness and corruption, just mentioning that it is not limited to one party, one person, one 'label'.

I must differ.

OK. But your rebuttal states the very thing I commented on.

If the American voters had kept government within the carefully crafted bounds of the Constitution,

It was the 'corrupt' AMERICAN voters who did not keep the government within the carefully crafted bounds, because doing so would not have allowed them to become criminally rich and powerful.

Most of it IS limited to the Democrat Party; and excused, lied about, and covered up by an enabling media. - Yeah, there are some rotten apples in the Republican Party; but the media sees that they’re strung up by their “greedy” thumbs toot-sweet, drawn and quartered, AND their own side rides them out on a rail in disgrace - while the Democrats rally round their criminals until the bitter end.

I could agree with that.

However, remember that John McCain is still in office.

Do you remember that he walked alongside John Kerry when they went to Vietnam to ‘tour’ the POW camps to find American soldiers who were still there?

That he signed off on a document stating there were no POW’s left in Vietnamese POW camps ?

That it was all a lie ?

Yeah. John McCain’s judgment is severely lacking; sort of like the Presidential candidate the Democrats ALMOST foisted off on us, Little Johnny Edwards. However, never fear, they still had Hussein Obama laying in wait for us.
