Police to dig for Jimmy Hoffa at Roseville home

Based on a tip Roseville police received recently from a man dying from cancer, the Local 4 Defenders have learned forensic anthropologists will help the Roseville Police Department dig for former union leader Jimmy Hoffa at a house in Roseville.
Hoffa went missing July 30, 1975 and was declared dead seven years later on July 30, 1982.
The Defenders have learned a man who is seriously ill and dying from cancer told Roseville police he saw men moving a black bag at the house's garage hours after Hoffa went missing more than 35 years ago.

Well, at least a dying confession of sorts is a little more credible than random-arse urban legends. But still...
Meanwhile, in England they might have just dug up King Richard III under a parking lot. Man, the countries on the other side of the pond are always digging up cooler stuff than us. One advantage to having a longer history, I guess.

Read something recently .... there is a crematorium a very short distance from the house, just down the road. It would have been easy and likely to have the body cremated within minutes of Hoffa being killed.

I think he’s buried in or around the Pontiac Silverdome. He disappeared near there, and it was being built at the time. Right up Woodward, and east on M-59. A short trip to dump a body. Or, he ended up being extra carbon in a heat of cast iron at Pontiac Motors.
