Mass Lawyers Weekly ran a reader poll today regarding the following question:
Should U.S. Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren be investigated for possibly practicing law without a license?
I heard about the poll in an email just after 1:30 p.m. today. I did not publicize the poll because while online polls are not scientific, I also didnt want someone to say that the results were skewed by me publicizing the poll.

It seems obvious to this Massachusetts observer that there IS a clear issue here, but it will not see the light of day in any substantial form.
If asked, she will say there was no problem, and the media will declare the issue a non-issue, and the lemmings whose votes will count in the election will shrug their shoulders and say “I guess there is no issue there...”
Can we say BIASED!
FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin', if I miss them. (looks like a medium volume list) (gordongekko909, founder of the pinglist, stays on the list until his ghost signs up for the list)
Biased MEDIA?
You mean co-conspirators, criminals, traitors just like the leadership in the Demo Party.
Warren is a felon. You or I would likely loose our law license if we made that “mistake.”
Remember: Coakley is prosecuting Cahill for misusing the Lottery advertisements to promote his candidacy for governor. Warren, otoh, will get a pass, at least through November.
Lawyers are Democrats (bit “D”) because they like big government which means more work for lawyers.
No kidding !
After what Ted got away with, this charge is a laugher.
Most lemmings don't know what an "issue" is.
The saddest part is that despite Warren’s lies, she is leading Brown by 5% according to a Boston Globe poll released today. I wish the message about her dishonesty could be spread more and faster. Voters are uneducated. http://www.boston.com/news/politics/2012/09/29/elizabeth-warren-appears-inch-ahead-scott-brown-new-globe-poll/4u10XRyC5PmIPCkKsutsnN/story.html
the reason this is not being investigated is because it is STUPID. No I do not like Warren or her false claims of being aborigine but clearly she had a law license somewhere. The deal with the various state bars requiring licenses is similar to requiring different driver’s licenses state to state—oh no, you ain’t driving in Mass with a New Jersey license, you need a Mass license—dumb, stupid, that is why lawyers aren’t really that concerned, only the ones that think like New York cab drivers-—eh, you ain’t got a cab driving medallion, you ain’t driving a cab.
nope nope
Don’t talk about it... DO It!!!
Well, if Warren gets away with it, it just means that you don’t need a license to practice law in Massachusetts. It’s not like lawyers are prudish about it, as long as you can stand in front of a judge and say things in Latin. /sarc
Just get a law degree over the Internet at the same time you get your Medical and Bartending degrees from the University of Aruba, then get admitted to Harvard Law by claiming in writing to be a handicapped, half Zimbabwean and half Poohawk Indian, albino lesbian Maoist communist Wahhabi Muslim. Which is why you can never been seen in public, because of all the assassins from INTERPOL, UNICEF, and Greenpeace.
Anyway, despite their desperate pleas, drop out after a week because they are “Colonialist Zionist Capitalist Oppressors”. They will mail your graduation diploma to your P.O. Box, with an offer of a full professorship, and list you as a faculty member no matter what you do.
LOL, just amazing we even still frame things that way, even pointing out bias...it is almost the same as saying “humans die if deprived of oxygen” or “the sky is blue”.
Isn’t practicing law without a license a crime?
Hahahahahahaha!
Planto vestri own licentia, meditor lex per impunity.
See? We can all do it now!
Don't get me wrong, I agree with your characterization of the licensing practice as pure BS (for concealed carry and law licenses) but it is the law.
