Life and career
Broadwell grew up in Bismarck, North Dakota and attended Century High School, where she was homecoming queen and valedictorian for the class of 1991.[5] Broadwell graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1995. She earned a master's degree from the University of Denver's Josef Korbel School of International Studies in 2006.[6][7] She earned a Master of Public Administration from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.[8] She has served as Director of the Jebsen Center for Counter-Terrorism Studies at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. She later entered the Ph.D. program at Department of War Studies at King's College London.[9] She served in the United States Army and is a Major in the United States Army Reserve.
Broadwell has written for the New York Times and the Boston Globe.[10][11] Her biography of Petraeus, All In, was published in January 2012.[12] In November 2012, law enforcement officials said Broadwell was being investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation for improperly trying to access Petraeus' email.[13][14]
Personal life
Broadwell is married to Scott Broadwell, an interventional radiologist. They have two sons and reside in Charlotte, North Carolina. In November 2012, it was reported that Paula Broadwell had an affair with Petraeus, leading to his resignation as director of the CIA.[15]

Imagine—a West Point graduate sleeps with a four star general, knowing what the exposure of such an affair would do to him.
There’s honor right there.
And let us not forget—she was trying to access his CIA emails? Sounds like treason to me.
Time to find out who see is really working for.
And let’s face it folks, we have a crime syndicate in the White House, and they mean this nation real harm.
That translates to real harm to you and your family.
Tell that to your lib contacts who re-elected the creep in the Oval Office.
They own whatever happens now.
Unless her husband was cheating on her and this was revenge thing, Petraeus had nothing to offer her. Not good looks (husband handsome/Petraeus homely) , not money (husband a Doctor), not children (she already has them), not an elevation in social status (unless she wanted to be the queen of the Military Ball).

Thanks for the ping. I notice Ray McGovern, Gareth Porter, etc. have injected themselves into the follow-up on this story, probably as an opportunistic move.
I suspect there is a lot we don’t know. I’m not ready to throw Paula or Petraeus under the bus yet.
McCain said there were a lot more shoes to drop from this centipede. It’s possible they were set-up. But why? To coverup something very big!
