I don’t care why the reason the ballots got lost, there should be a chain-of-custody for each ballot cast.

If officials, ‘lose’ some ballots, then those officials need to be held accountable and serious jailtime should result for any malarky.

By the way, there was no right to vote in the Constitution the FOUNDERS wrote for a reason, and none of the subsequent Constitutional Amendments instituting Universal Suffrage speak to legislation requiring all citizens to re-register to obtain voter ID cards and for that matter disenfranchising anyone who does not pay Federal Income tax.

Our society has become too complacent. Even the talking heads on the conservative side have become complacent. They dismiss fraud too easily and that is why it is becoming so prevalent.
