Allen West and the Big Fix
American Thinker ^ | 11/18/2012 | Thomas Lifson

The legitimacy the electoral process in St. Lucie County, Florida is now in question, as Rep. Allen West seeks judicial intervention to prevent certification of as vote count that is indisputably incompetent, and very possibly corrupt. John Fund, the go-to expert on electoral fraud, writes in National Review Online:

********

Democrat Patrick Murphy, who leads West by some 2,000 votes, is trying to stop a full recount of controversial early ballots cast in St. Lucie County. His current victory margin is just large enough to avoid triggering an automatic recall of all precincts and all votes. ...Gertrude Walker, the 32-year-veteran election supervisor of St. Lucie County...has spent much of the last two weeks explaining why her office completely botched the count. She admitted that her office had acted in "haste" in issuing election results, and that "mistakes were made." Among her mistakes was failing to count 40 of the 94 precincts under her jurisdiction on Election Night - and then counting the other 54 twice. Indeed. On Friday, her office announced it had "discovered" 304 additional early votes left in a box. None had been counted

But Walker wasn't available for comment. She has been hospitalized for unknown reasons.

Even worse, Walker's office has failed to meet the legal deadline for completing the count, and now seeks to send in admittedly flawed results for certification, handing the election to Murphy.

********

In seeking to pull a fast one, Walker and her Democrat allies are picking on the wrong guy. Allen West is fearless, and he does not just give up, as far too many establishment Republicans are prone to do.

Will Floridians allow this election to be stolen before their eyes?

OH I think we have already seen what wussified Americans will accept. There is no way that 51% of hard working Americans want four more years of this corrupt Chicago clown in the WH and yet here we have it. The only answer is that our entire culture has changed to the "gimme me" mentality and I refuse to believe that, or should I say I DON'T want to believe it.

Confirms my thoughts that, after counting a representative sample of votes, Obamugabe was projected as the winner, the Media ran with it and...they just STOPPED COUNTING!

The House should refuse to seat Murphy.

Then they should vote out Boner from the speakers post and put West in as speaker.

Justice.

I've learned some disturbing things during this debacle, probably the most upsetting is the number of republicans hostile to LTC West.

They are afraid of anyone not willing to be under establishment control.

Republicans in Florida stabbed him in the back redrawing this district.

They want country club go along get along politicians like our current Speaker. If you actually believe in conservative principles, you’re a threat.

You too can help put pressure on Tea Party reps in congress to nominate Allen West as Speaker of the House.

*The speaker does not have to be an elected member of the house.
*The majority “can” control the vote for speaker, but that doesn’t mean the speaker is guaranteed to be a republican.
*If the TP caucus would stick together on this they could force the RINOs to support West or chance giving the seat back to Pelosi.
* It’s time to stand up!

There are numerous ways to contact Tea Party Caucus members. Are you creative enough to find one? Here's help

I imagine the RINO’s would rather have Pelosi than West as speaker. Then the TP caucus could play the ‘race card’...it could get wild.

If Patrick Murphy (electoral thief) had a true 2000 vote margin he would absolutely welcome a recount as it would hold up and his win would be without any doubt. Patrick Murphy (electoral thief) knows there are a "shi-load" of phony votes and is afraid of a recount.

People need to go to jail when this is over.

......A printing error on Palm Beach County ballots prevented more than 27,000 from being read by tabulation machines. To right the problem, election workers hand-copied the results on those ballots. Meanwhile, West’s attorneys went to court and asked a judge to impound all ballots and tabulating machines. A judge denied it and ballot-copying ended at 4:45 a.m. Nov. 10 — about five hours before unofficial certified results were due.

The next day, St. Lucie County election officials began retabulating 16,275 ballots cast during the last three days of early voting because machines had been unable to read some of the electronic memory cartridges. West’s attorney went to court again, asking for a recount of all early ballots after the elections office admitted double-counting some ballots and ignoring others on election night.

A judge denied that request Friday but noted that the canvassing board would meet that day to discuss a recount. When election officials revealed that 306 ballots had gone unaccounted for, West supporters became angry. A divided canvassing board voted to recount all 37,379 early ballots cast. After work ended late Saturday, the counting resumed at 8 a.m. Sunday under the watchful eyes of dozens of West supporters.

The St. Lucie County board did not release any results but merely read aloud the final count for West and Murphy. It was the only county that had not certified its results as of late Sunday.....

Huh?

"November 14, 2012 WASHINGTON, DC – Today, House Republicans – including newly elected and returning lawmakers – selected their leadership team for the 113th Congress. The new team held a press conference highlighting their commitment to listening to the American people and focusing on their priorities. House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) made the following remarks:"

I hope he gets a recount however when I see that Gerty got 76,000 votes for SoE, 10,000 more than Obama, and that 10,000 had to have come from people who also voted for Romney and West, I have my doubts.

I was under the assumption that the new speaker isn't voted until the membership is sworn in.

A great opportunity has been lost, I'm afraid.

Were they creating new ballots to be read in the machines??? Is that even legal???

Were these 27,000 part of the early votes that were retabulated or from the other 80,000???

It doesn't seem possible to "hand copy the results" of 27,000 ballots in such a short time.
