“State Rep. Mitch Gillespie, a Republican who sponsored the bill, has already announced his intention to urge the attorney general to appeal the decision.”

How about the Governor sending the judge a letter reminding him of the 10th Amendment and telling him there is nothing in the Constitution giving a single federal judge the power to over rule a state legislature? Inform the judge the state will ignore his ruling and proceed to implement the law passed by the legislature.

U.S. District Court Judge James Fox seems painfully ignorant of
or has contempt for the Declaration of Independence
"Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness" is a well-known phrase
in the United States Declaration of Independence. The phrase is meant
to exemplify the "unalienable rights" with which all human beings are
endowed by their Creator and for the protection of which they institute
governments.[1]

Nothing says the state can’t offer “Choose Death” plates.

As I ranted in a related post, the only reason that activist judges get away with decisions like this is because parents are not making sure that their children are being taught the difference between legislative and judicial powers. And when children get old enough to vote and sign petitions, they don’t recognize when corrupt judges legislate from the bench.

Anyone have any thoughts if this will apply to other states?

True. But if there are 50-150 million of us that give a damn, we can all make a difference with a continuous, reasonable effort.

Let’s treat the Left’s dependency on ignorance as a vulnerability.

One of their “Special Interest” plates is a “Save the Sea Turtle” plate. DOes this mean they now have to make a “Eliminate the Sea Turtle” plate? Or with regards to their “In God We Trust” plates, will they now sell “Hail Satan” plates?

Imagine the reaction if the opposing tags were the following:

Choose Life for Babies, not Death.

Choose Death for Babies, not Life.

If everything is stripped away, this is what really is being said.

Where do they get these STUPID judges?

When bubba klintoon rose to power he dismissed most federal judges and replaced them with idiots that would do his bidding. The GOP, in usual fashion protested mildly and then slinked away, so he got away with it. This was similar to the GOP protests about Fast and Furious and Benghazi - you see what is happening with them - absolutely nothing! These judges can stay in power for forty years or so, or for life.

I see an opportunity here. A business that does metal stamping or plastic fabrication should come out with license plate surrounds (like those frames car dealers use) that say “choose life.” Sales would be brisk all over the US.

True. But if there are 50-150 million of us that give a damn, we can all make a difference with a continuous, reasonable effort.

I posted the following in a related thread concerning constitutionally indefensible abortion rights. The activist justices who decided Roe v. Wade were wrong to legalize abortion for the following reason. They wrongly put on their "magic glasses" to subjectively read the non-enumerated right to have an abortion in the 9th Amendment which they then applied to the states with the 14th Amendment.

More specifically, John Bingham, the main author of Sec. 1 of 14A, had officially clarified that 14A applies only constitutionally enumerated rights to the states.

"Mr. Speaker, this House may safely follow the example of the makers of the Constitution and the builders of the Republic, by passing laws for enforcing all the privileges and immunities of the United States as guaranteed by the amended Constitution and expressly enumerated in the Constitution." --John Bingham, Congressional Globe, 1871. (See bottom half of third column.)

In other words, the Article V state majority would have needed to previously ratify an amendment to the Constitution which made having an abortion a right before majority justices could have applied such a right to the states via 14A imo.

And to complete the loop concerning my previous rant about the Supreme Court's fictitious constitutional right to an abortion being a consequence of parents not making sure that their children are being taught the difference between legislative and judicial powers, please consider the following. As a consequence of voter ignorance concerning such government powers, but also including ignorance of the Founder's division of federal and state powers, citizens are clueless that not only did activist justices get away with legislating the so-called right to have an abortion from the bench, but justices breached the Founding States' division of federal and state government powers and usurped state legislative powers to do their dirty work.

Well that special interest trade group known as the BAR is the gatekeeper to who can and cannot run for various offices. Naturally as an ACLU friendly org we get numbskulls like this judge.

Why are we allowing the various state BAR groups to control so much of our court systems!

I don’t get this - why doesn’t the state of North Carolina say “ok, we’ll keep issuing CHOOSE LIFE plates and for the pro-abort crowd we’ll issue CHOOSE DEATH and even LETS KILL MORE BABIES plates”....

Florida has outlawed virtually all license plate covers and frames because they are claimed to interfere with their revenue cameras and in-car license plate scanners.
