A violent mob destroys the Americans For Prosperity tent on the lawn of the state capital during protest against right to work legislation. While destruction happened, there were people inside the tent and some in the crowd were armed with knives.

Suppressive fire is a critical element of effective maneuver. While killing the enemy is certainly a desireable outcome, keeping his head down so he can't kill you has a quality all its own.

It was tempting, but I got the hell out of there when some of the real bad stuff was happening. I WAS carrying and did not want to have to defend myself in court if I drew my gun, especially after what I saw the goon trying to do with the NRA guy.
This is the kind of behavior you would see in a third world country; not in America. They even have a hatred against the freedom of speech. And the speech they use is the most despicable type you would ever hear.
Understand, these guys are thugs, plain and simple. They're not very smart, easily influenced and work with a mob mentality. There should be off-duty police who are CARRYING WEAPONS to support the AFP. This was a mistake on the part of AFP and should NOT be repeated.

My sentiments exactly. Governor Rick Snyder must be keeping things on a low level of reaction to the wild crowds in Lansing. Republicans have commanding majorities in both chambers—64-46 in the House and 26-12 in the Senate. Passing Right-to-Work is a done deal despite Obama and his union thugs.
It was worse in person. I know. I was there.
Bob Beckel today on The Five said all the right to work states were a bunch of backwater states. He’s a union thug supporter and his arguments were weak.

When the newspapers in Detroit would go on strike broken arms and legs were SOP Talked with a driver that delivered the papers to outside containers got his garage burned down and a broken arm.....with concealed weapons now some thugs might end up with the lead in them....their lives and health can be at stake.....all you have to say is I feared for my life. With thugs that is a true statement..
These scenes along with the disgraceful behavior of unionists in Wisconsin makes you wonder what kind of people choose to become union leaders? They seem to be the nastiest people in the unions. Self-selected group of thugs I imagine.
Beckel was on TheFive today whining that the union guys were the ones bullied and broken by the evil management. I think Beckel lives in a parallel universe. On Twitter, the libs are blaming Steve Crowder for inciting this violence.
I would love to see people from the coal industry driving to Washington in a huge caravan complete with all kinds of trucks and equipment. Also, many, many veterans and all sorts of people Obama has offended.
With over 3 hundred million american citizens, they will never run out of someone else to blame....LOL
Beckel is a fat, arrogant PIG. He has the kind of punk face that you would love to smack over and over, just to hear the sound.
About 5 or 10 shotgun rounds even into the air would send them scattering.
