Hip/hop artist and his legion of morons spew hate at Michelle Malkin

Here we go again. Conservative blogger and Twitchy founder Michelle Malkin has reaped a whirlwind of hate tweets from fans of hip/hop artist The Game. It’s due to the cover art of his new album Jesus Piece, which features a depiction of Christ that some consider blasphemous. Malkin had a post about it on her blog on December 11. According to Twitchy:

The Game released a controversial artwork of the album via Instagram on October 21, 2012 and also announced the release date will be December 11. The cover portrays a dark-skinned Jesus in a stained glass window with a teardrop tattoo, a red bandanna around his mouth, and he is wearing a Jesus piece. In the artwork beside Jesus, are symbols of cannabis sativa leaves. The stained glass-inspired image shows Jesus sitting on a throne adorned with gang-related symbols. In the artwork, Jesus is holding a gold “Jesus Piece” chain and pointing to a symbol on his breast plate. The red bandana over his mouth is a reference to the Compton PiruBloods gang, to which Game is allegedly a member. The coconut tree symbolises the Tropics and leisure life. The artwork has a slightly altered logo on the top, which features on all of the previous Game’s studio albums. The album’s title Jesus Piece is stylized as Je5us Piece, depicting that it is Game’s fifth studio album. Je5us Piece logo is styled after the iconic Louis Vuitton. The religious imagery of the art has gained mixed reviews and the ire of some fans who deem the work as blasphemous.[15]Several celebrities praised the artwork including, rap veteran Busta Rhymes, Mac Miller and Kevin Hart.

I watched that reprehensible explosion of vitriol as it was happening last night on Twitter. Those tweets make Harry Belafonte look almost sane. Unbelievable. Michelle responded with characteristic class, just retweeting the attacks to let them show their true colors.

And here I thought it was only the right that was a bunch of violent racist haters.

Matthew 12:31-32 “And so I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.”

If he wants to use Jesus in his logos maybe he should read the bible a little more often.

So once again, someone who wants fame and fortune take the easiest route by insulting Jesus and His followers.

It takes no intelligence or talent, just a willing media.

Too bad the hip/hop artist didn’t have the spine and intelligence to insult Mohamed instead. But if they had, they would have had to fight some fairly mean, psychotic thugs rather than a fairly petite, nonviolent woman. And we all know these money and attention whores don’t want to work for what they get.

The Game should show real courage and do that with Mohammed.

This pretentious, ponderous collection of hip/hop crap inspires the question: on which day did God create The Game and couldn’t He have rested then too?

I made sure to weigh in and tell Michelle that we stand by her. With all the crap she takes I think a small voice to remind her every so often is important.

They do this for one and only one reason. There is no one to stop them. A bully only bullies until he gets his face punched in. These idiots are nothing but bullies.

My thought was during the OWS debacle, several of these wannabe anarchists are separated from the pack, beaten senseless and left with the thought that this will continue until the madness stops.

His first album sold 2.6mm units.

His last album sold about 275k units.

He is stoking controversy to bring up his numbers.

The album cover is repulsive - but it is carefully thought out.

It is designed to resonate with Mexican and African-American gang tropes and symbols as well as with "disaffected" white kids who find blasphemy edgy.

Marketing.

With all due respect that is completely wrong. Appealing? Yes. Personally satisfying? Yes. But completely totally and fundamentally wrong.

That is precisely the kind of reaction they hope for. It gives them the chance to paint the right as evil and violent. And it gives the totalitarian forces in government (which are barely restrained right now) a justification for action.

"Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing." 1 Peter 3:9

As we see when the unions protest that they get real violent to the point of killing people in their path. They left gets real violent.

Michelle Malkin is a real touch person that can take the arrow and still keep on voicing her opinion. Just like the Late Andrew Breitbart and his editor at Big Journalism Dana Loesch.

I don’t think that a blasphemous cover is the answer for why an album sells or doesn’t sell. Because, you tell me, The White Album, what was that? There was nothing on that f****** cover.

When you think about it, maybe the next album cover attributed to him *should* insult Mohammed.

I’m sure that radical Muslims would believe his denials that it wasn’t his. A nice “Mohammed Burns in Hell” theme would work.
