NGO Monitor, which studies the treatment of Israel by supposedly non-affiliated and apolitical volunteer and civic groups, has accused Human Rights Watch (HRW) of once again leveling false charges against Israel. According to NGO Monitor, HRW accused Israel of attacking journalists in Gaza during Operation Pillar of Defense, but the charge is false both legally and factually, and the timing of this release appears to be a cynical attempt to divert attention from many scandals currently plaguing the organization, NGO Monitor said.
"This is yet another example of HRW's systematic lack of credibility and its biased approach to Israel," said Prof. Gerald Steinberg, president of NGO Monitor. "Calling a military attack 'unlawful' is a serious charge, which should not be made lightly. But HRW cannot substantiate these allegations."
HRW claims, without any military expertise or necessary information, that the targets in the Israeli strikes were "making no apparent contribution to Palestinian military operations" and were not valid "military objectives." HRW clearly has no knowledge of the military intelligence possessed by Israeli commanders at the time of the strikes, or the military and moral concerns that guided their thinking. Nothing hard to understand about it. If they went to Syria or Iran and told the truth, they'd be arrested, tortured, and never heard from again. So instead they go to Israel, and they must have a human rights violation. That's what they're there for. If they don't find one, they invent one.
Other than the US, Israel is the most hated of nations.
Anti-Semitic Socialists — what a concept! Not! They are probably DUmmies trying to make a “difference” in the world. LOL
They’re making a difference alright.
only in the fantasy world they live in.
Who says they make a difference for good. The Newton shooter made a difference, too.
There must be a lot of gays in Gaza and the West Bank...because Homo Rights Watch (they mainly specialize in gay rights) sure has a Anti-Semitic Hate-On for Israel
Pedaresty is so rampant by Muzzies, it’s ridiculous. Their boy scouts scout for boys, who are strewn about like pearls in the afterlife. So it’s not like the polka song about no beer in heaven. But still they bink all they can down here.
