HELP!! SOMEONE STOLE FROM THE TROOPS!

Friends, we have some tough news to break. As horrible as it sounds, there are people out there who are willing to steal from the troops. Last night, just before a big shipment was planned to go out, some criminal broke the lock to the location where we were storing about 400 care packages. The thieves didn't take them all, but they stole about $5,000 worth of packages that were meant for the troops in Afghanistan.

You have to ask yourself, what kind of a heartless person would steal from a non-profit organization known for shipping care packages to the troops in Afghanistan?

We have filed a police report and taking special measures to make sure that our packages are secure, but the damage has already been done. Our volunteers, who worked for hours over the weekend preparing those packages to get shipped out, are devastated.

It's very tough for us to get over this, but if you, our members, would be generous and kind enough, we need help to make up the difference. We hate to think that some of our troops will miss out on a great care package this year, all because of some unkind and unpatriotic criminals.

There are only 9 days left until Christmas. Please help us recover from this loss and make sure our troops over in Afghanistan don't miss out this year!

Please Help! A 'Grinch' Stole Christmas from the Troops



Just before a shipment of Christmas care packages was about to go out to our troops in Afghanistan, criminals broke the lock to our warehouse and stole about $5,000 worth of care packages. These theives stole Christmas from about 150 active-duty servicemen and women who would have recieved a care package in time for Christmas, now they won't get anything unless you help. 

Rush Limbaugh, Mike Huckabee, Mark Levin and many others have jumped in to help us get more care packages together. While we have now missed the deadline for shipping in time for Christmas, it is better for our troops to get something a few days late than nothing at all!

We are Move America Forward, a non-profit charity organization founded in 2004 with the mission of supporting our troops and their missions in the war on terror. Last week our volunteers spent hours preparing a huge shipment of over 350 care packages for troops in Afghanistan for Christmas and the holidays.

It sure makes you wonder, what kind of heartless person would steal from a non-profit organization known for shipping care packages to the troops?

We filed a police report, but the damage has already been done. Although we still shipped several hundred care pacakges that will arrive in Afghanistan by Christmas day, there are hundreds of troops who won't get anything.

But we haven't given up yet, we know that the troops appreciate a care package from home ANYTIME, and that's why we're currently preparing a new shipment that we will rush out tomorrow. The packages won't arrive until after Christmas, but we know the troops will still appreciate them.

We need your help to make up for the losses suffered at the hands of these theives, please help Move America Forward send some care packages to the troops before the end of the year. They may arrive the day after Christmas, but they'll still carry the Christmas cheer that our troops need, not to mention the coffee, cookies and tons of other goodies they will enjoy.

Rush Limbaugh, Mike Huckabee, Mark Levin Help Us Recover After Packages Were Stolen, Encourage Support for MAF

When our supporters heard about the tragic loss of these care packages, thanks to that unfeeling Grinch, they responded by helping spread the word about what happened. People like Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin and Mike Huckabee, who have supported Move America Forward in the past, devoted time on their radio programs to raise awareness about our urgent need.

Rush has always been a big supporter of the troops and of Move America Forward. Every year, Rush has helped us by appearing on our annual Troopathon fundraiser and helping promote it every summer.

Mike Huckabee has interviewed our members on his radio program, and last year he had Debbie Lee on his radio show the day of the Troopathon. Yesterday he talked about the care package theft on his show.

Mark Levin has also helped out our Troopathons by appearing and helping spread the word about our efforts to send care packages to the troops. He used his Facebook page to tell his supporters about what happened to MAF

Rush, Mike and Mark are all asking their listeners and supporters to help Move America Forward recover from our loss and get some packages out to the troops as quickly as possible. Someone Stole from the Troops


As you may have seen, on drudgereport.com, the unthinkable happened. Grinches tried to ruin Christmas for some of our brave troops in Afghanistan, stealing already packed and ready to deliver care packages in the dark of the night. But thanks to public outcry and the overwhelming generosity of everyday Americans like you, we are making up for the stolen care packages and working on another shipment as we speak.

The investigation is ongoing but we hope that whoever took the care packages will have a change of heart and drop off the stolen care packages to a Post office. No questions asked. All of them were addressed and had pre paid postage.

We are now in our 5th day of MAF's 12 Days of Christmas, where we are chronicling the gifts that American troops have given to us over the years since our nation was first born. For MAF's 5th Day of Christmas, we recognize the gift of Shelter from Tyranny.

On a Sunday morning, December 7, 1941, Japanese imperialists attacked the United States' base at Pearl Harbor in an unprovoked act of war. U.S. troops fought valiantly against the sneak attack, but 2,402 were killed and another 1,282 wounded.

America was pulled into World War II - and Americans troops stepped up to the plate. Our troops fought back fiercely in brutal conditions on foreign soil. They went on the offensive to protect the homeland from the tyranny of the Nazis and their Axis allies.

They fought back in the Pacific, regaining ground and islands gobbled up by the Japanese, raised the flag over Iwo Jima. Brave American forces kicked the Axis out of the African continent and subdued Italy.

They invaded and liberated France, and crossed the frontier into Germany where they drove hard across Europe. Our troops freed and saved thousands of helpless Jews trapped in the concentration camps. They battled for every inch of enemy territory even in the worst winter storms, until finally reaching Berlin and, along with allies, rid the world of the Nazi threat.

Today, our troops continue to protect us from the tyranny, this time from radical Islam jihadists. There are so many similarities between the philosophy of Nazism and radical Jihad that early on in the war on terror, analysts coined the term "Islamo-Fascism."

Rush has always been a big supporter of the troops, and of Move America Forward as one of the premiere organizations out there providing support for the men and women on the front lines. He's also been a huge supporter of other troop-support groups such as the Marine Corps - Law Enforcement Foundation. Rush has helped us every year by appearing on our Troopathon event which we broadcast every summer.

Move America Forward is awed and humbled by the many gifts that our troops have given to us since they first took up arms to fight for our nation's independence. Each of those gifts were paid for by the sacrifice our troops have made for their country. We owe our troops a huge debt for the price of freedom and today, on MAF's SIXTH DAY OF CHRISTMAS we remember the gift of SECURITY.

Without security, our freedoms would be meaningless. Our rights and liberties are protected by the knowledge that our troops will be there to stop any tyranny or oppression that would try to take our rights away.
 
The war between Communist North Korea and the Republic of South Korea escalated June 25, 1950, when the Communists invaded the South. Under United Nations auspices, the United States and allies helped protect the South from the Communists. Not long after, China joined forces with their fellow communists in North Korea to advance the worldwide spread of communism.

American troops defended Democracy against Communism, a conflict that continued throughout the Cold War and has never officially ended. The Korean War is sometimes called the Forgotten War. We cannot ever forget our troops, whether they serve in a time of peace or, like the veterans of the Korean War, in a pivotal time of war against a committed enemy such as the Chinese communists.

Even though the threat comes from radical Islamic extremism instead of bolshevism, our troops continue to carry on that legacy of protecting America and the free nations of the world from those who would enslave them. Our troops continue to give us Security from enemies that want to destroy America.

O.K....I steal $5,000 worth of care packages full of mostly candies, snacks, treats...etc. etc. Now what the hell do I do with them???...they cant be sold as is, they can be broken down and sold as individial items, but I don’t have a facility that deals in that kind of stuff....where’s the motivation to do something that stupid???If it happened as reported, it took someone a whole lot of effort for what kind of profit????zilch

There was a theft of over $3000 worth of toys, supermarket, and gasoline gift cards from a local Catholic Church a couple of weeks ago. They were for the "Giving Trees" program in which several local parishes take part. The Tyco company, out of Rhode Island, read about it, and volunteers came up and brought a big truck filled with toys to replace the ones that were stolen.

Folks who would do this just make me sick!

It's hard to understand how someone could do things like that.

There are horrible incluences upon people from all directions and the morals are declining with people thinking that they are owed a living.

That being said, a little late to post but it still is Chirstmas day here!
