Government spending is the No. 1 problem in America, and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said he won’t rule out a government shutdown if President Barack Obama refuses to address the country’s growing fiscal woes.

“We now have a debt the size of our economy, which makes us look a lot like Greece,” McConnell said Sunday on NBC’s Meet the Press. “It’s a shame that the president doesn’t embrace the effort to reduce spending.”

When host David Gregory asked McConnell about the debt ceiling, and whether Republicans would consider a government shutdown to force the issue of spending cuts, the leader did not rule out the possibility. …

It could be a blessing in disguise. The riots that would follow would likely be cathartic for many.

End all foreign aid.
Out of the UN, UN out of the US.
Defund Dept. of Education, Homeland Security, EPA, DEA, TSA,
ICE, and Obamacare.
Disqualify 75% of all persons on welfare, SNAP, food stamps, etc.
Mitch, I’ve got some spending cuts for you.

I agree...this McConnell comes across as a mumbling idiot...way too much credit
Mitch "Ol' Marble Mouthed/Get Along to Get Along" McConnell; is very similar, to *Boxer of Eric Blair/George Orwell's Animal Farm Fame....

*Boxer - The cart-horse whose incredible strength, dedication,
and loyalty
play a key role in the early prosperity of Animal Farm
and the later completion of the windmill. Quick to help but rather
slow-witted
, Boxer shows much devotion to Animal Farm’s
ideals but little ability to think about them independently.
He naïvely trusts the pigs to make all his decisions for him.

His two mottoes are “I will work harder” and “Napoleon is always right.”

add "other" notations as you wish.
