Ben Shapiro on Hannity: “We’ve Reached the End of Bipartisanship. We’ve Reached the End of Civility”
Gateway Pundit ^ | 1/9/13 | Jim Hoft

Ben Shapiro was on with Sean Hannity last night to discuss his new book “Bullies: How the Left’s Culture of Fear and Intimidation Silences America” and to list the top five progressive bullies in America today. As a final question, Hannity asked Ben how do conservatives counter the progressive bullies today. Ben answered,

“We can’t be civil with them. We can’t. We’ve reached the end of bipartisanship. We’ve reached the end of civility. It’s like the Geneva Conventions. These people are out of uniform. Once they exit the realm of civility they are now fair game. And it’s enough playing fair with them. It’s enough having the moral high ground. If we have the moral high ground it means that we lose. We need to start fighting back and fighting back hard.“

Andrew Breitbart would be proud.

You can’t kill 56 million babies and have “civility.”

It pretty much started in earnest with the personal destruction of Robert Bork.

Been keeping up with Ben since his college days. Can find precious little to criticise him for. He is a straight shooting Conservative and in this case, he is absolutely right.

Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals #12 has metastasized.

ALINSKY'S RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. This is cruel, but very effective. Direct, personalized criticism and ridicule works.

Alan Grayson who has done nothing but sling insults at conservative since his return to Washington.

If I had the gavel I would announce that the republicans would vote on no legislation sponsored or co sponsored by him till his party gets him under control.

Political correctness has nearly ruined this country. Once you let the Thought Police start controlling what you say and do, you’ve already placed yourself in chains. One of my New Year’s resolutions is to speak plainly in defending the truth. If that offends some people, that’s their problem, not mine.

The rules of engagement have been set by one side, it is up to the defense to adopt a new similar code.

There are no gentlemen in a mob shootout. But it is foolish to engage them in a frontal assault. First taking cover, then sharpshooting on designated targets as they are revealed, is the strategy the other side has used.

But they have become bold, and in their boldness, they are much more vulnerable, as they step out of their cover and assert they have “won”.

Arrogance invites its own retaliation.

"Alan Grayson who has done nothing but sling insults at conservative since his return to Washington."

A pity it is too. When he is lucid, he actually has some interesting things to say. I heard him bore into a fed official at a hearing and was shocked at how good he was. If he would actually spend his time doing good, he could be an effective legislator instead of a shill for the communists.

I agree and if I were Boehner I would make that point if the democrats want him to be an effective legislator.

Ben Shapiro is correct, but unfortunately, we don’t have leaders with courage and what it takes to play hardball.

I see the GOP as the Surender party.

Bold ideas, strong convictions, consistent conservative principles, integrity, love of country - constitution, and a warriors heart.... I see none of that within the leadership on our side.

AND, Obama, the democrats and many within his corrupt administration, should have already been indicted on criminal charges.

Arkancide or murder; methods of persuasion used often by the elite, democrats, mafia, the CIA and other nefarious groups of people the world over to exact their will and to send messages to their enemies. What methods can the good guys use that will be as effective in halting the momentum of those who do evil?? Is it time for the good guys to start emulating the methods of the evil doers??

“We need to start fighting back and fighting back hard.”

If you give the DemoQuacks an inch, they take a mile.

The Republicans gave the Dems an increase in taxes to resolve the so-called fiscal cliff.

And guess what? Now the Dems already want another increase in taxes to resolve the sequestration issue coming in two months. It’s funny ‘cuz it’s so predictable.

Frankly, I think the GOP doesn’t agree to anything it doesn’t actually believe, and the two parties largely are just establishment-minded tools who are doing the same work for their overlords, and there are few within the GOP who are genuine conservatives who believe in smaller government and less spending. But our numbers are growing, and it’s time for us to stop going along to get along with the GOP establishment which is little more than a pale imitation of the DemoQuacks.
