Contrary to an already controversial move first reported last Friday, CNET parent company CBS didn't just asked the site to remove Dish's Slingbox Hopper from consideration for its Best of CES Awards amidst a lawsuit between CBS and Dish; the removal came after executives learned the gadget would take the top award, and that request came down from CBS CEO Leslie Moonves himself Not sure this even makes the Top 50 list of worst CBS editorial abuses...

Reminiscent of how the MSM dances to the tune that the DNC plays.

As long as CNET is affiliated with CBS or any other media stream media outlet, then the answer is “No, they cannot be trusted.”

One has to think that certain individuals within the sphere of influence of CNET have taken hefty positions in the stock of those companies that produce products that CNET touts. Something rotten going on here.

I used to trust CNET, I mean really trust it. For years when I saw its web address among competing listings in the search results I would click on its link to what I was looking for.
I no longer trust CNET.

Comments on tech sites, populated predominately by political liberals, are: "If you can't trust CNET, then you can't trust CBS."
Conservatives should strike now. We have always known that CBS can't be trusted. We should now connect the dots for politically low-information techies.
For example: tech reviewers in the WSJ.
