Let’s revisit Benghazi.
The CIA ops who took up positions on the roof and held off the attackers for a time, were first told to stand down and NOT go to the compound.
Why?
Because the plan was for the ambassador to be “kidnapped” and then exchanged for the blind Sheik.
The White House knew they couldn’t withstand the criticism associated with a simple release. So, they concocted a staged kidnap/exchange scenario.
So, here’s Barack now:
“Yes President Morsi, I know I promised you the blind Sheik, so this time, go kidnap Americans where there is no one to interfere.”
If anyone can provide a better explanation, I’d like to hear it.
