Trijicon Withdraws From Eastern Sports & Outdoor Show After They Exclude AR15 Rifles

Wixom, MI --(Ammoland.com)- Trijicon, Inc., global provider of high quality, innovative aiming solutions to military, law enforcement and individual customers, has decided to withdraw its participation and support of the 2013 Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

“We, at Trijicon, are very disappointed in the decision of Reed Exhibitions to ban the display of Modern Sporting Rifles from the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show.”, said Tom Munson, V.P. of Sales & Marketing for Trijicon.

“Many of Trijicon’s loyal customers are responsible and law-abiding owners of these types of legal firearms and we will not support any organization that attempts to restrict their display or purchase.”

Trijicon is prepared to reconsider its support of future Eastern Sports and Outdoor Shows if Reed Exhibitions should reverse its stance regarding Modern Sporting Rifles.

An AR 15 wasn’t even used at Sandy Hook.

The weird thing is that these are the same people that manage the SHOT Show.

What a double standard.

I just sent Trijicon an email thanking them for standing up for our rights, and letting them know I will shop for their products in the future.

At this rate, as someone said here, croquet may be the only outdoor sport with an exhibition there. LOL!

Way to go Trijicon!

Now the NRA needs to pull out.

The coroner said that all the victims were shot (some multiple times) with caliber .223. Assuming that he is telling the truth, that PROBABLY means an AR-15 variant. Early news accounts seem to have been wrong about the weapons involved.
I have two ARs myself and want to protect everyone’s right to own them and any other semi-automatic firearm, but we need to get the facts straight when talking about the Sandy Hook crime. If an AR was not used in the crime, the medical examiner is either deliberately lying or is grossly incompetent. Another weapon could have been used that is chambered in .223. That is possible also. We should demand answers to this question. I am troubled by the lack of information about this case. Not much has been heard from the investigation for several weeks now.

Back on topic...Good job Trijicon in supporting lawful gun owners. I wish I had the cash to buy some of their fine optics. I can only dream about that right now.

The real money will be lost when joe citizen refuses to go through the front door.

"Gonna kick British ass again"

This is a good sign. People have had enough.

If I were Piers Morgan, I sure wouldn't act so "symbolically".

Boycott all shows that support the Brown Clown and his socialist initiatives. I agree 100%

“At this rate, that’s going to be a mighty empty exhibit hall...

Maybe the left can step in to save the day. A nice supply of gun free zone signs, a selection of books on how to negotiate with your rapist, an assortment of props from a public school sex education class; Bloomberg could be invited as a guest speaker, hmmm what else?
