I’d love to know the name of the idiot functionary at ESOS that made this bonebeaded call. I’ll bet there’s a lot of ‘splainin’ to do.

The only problem with that is that the NRA refuses to pull out of the show.

We’re leaving the northeast in about 3-4 years. Heading to Texas. We’ve been all over and Texas is as good as it gets.

Now their stuck. Either walk away from their investment or show up and face smaller than anticipated crowds and the risk of boycotts. Without knowing the specifics of the contracts, have a few reps handing out pocket constitutions, etc. at the otherwise empty booths. Instead of merchandise, hang a huge banner with the company logo and the 2nd Amendment. I'd net the organizers would like that even less then on one showing up at the booth.

I am surprised more citizens do not do state constitutional amendments to abolish their state income tax. (to be like texas in that regard)

Ill bet theres a lot of splainin to do.Just why the hell a "for profit" group would hire a progressive feel-good idiot is beyond me. Perhaps the whole organization is of the ilk. Reality is a harsh mistress. Fiscal conservatism is a job requirement in my business. Hope these morons enjoy their Facebook 'likes.'

you always leave a mole behind.
the NRA only sells protection of civil rights.
this will be an opportunity to add new recruits.

Stick out like sore thumb.
Each company made difficult decision about what’s best for their own company.
Reminds me of the scene in John Adams movie when all 13 states individually chose to be United.

Down the mountain into town at the local gun shop this morning, the regulars were talking about this show and people pulling out and the comment was made that the NRA had decided not to attend after all. Was that incorrect? Are they going to be there?

Even Texas is backsliding. Too many liberals moving here and the damned illegal alien criminals openly barging in.
It is like watching an old friend slip away.

Thanks. It will be interesting to see the final count on just how many vendors go along with the boycott.

Unless Eaker beats him to the punch. No, I thought about running but people pointed out that humblegunner and I are friends.
Really sunk what little chance I might have had.
