Examiner Editorial: Hillary Clinton was not a great secretary of state
The Washington Examiner ^ | January 24, 2013 | Examiner Editorial Staff

f there was one constant through Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's appearances before congressional committees Wednesday, it was that lawmakers fell all over themselves heaping praise on her for the job she has done. Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., was typical, saying: "Madame Secretary, you have represented us with tremendous strength and poise. You have won us friends." (snip)

What on Earth are they referring to? American foreign policy under Secretary Clinton has been one disaster after another. She may not deserve blame for all of them -- or even most of them -- but it defies common sense to call her tenure a success.

I must say, she surprised me by a lack of attention hogging, which is mother’s milk to a Clinton, as well as the absence of scandal, at least before Benghazi. That’s not saying much.

Maybe no news is good diplomacy. But can you praise her leadership when you can’t remember one thing she did in particular? There was something about a “reset” button with Russia...that’s all I got.

If boozing it up was the job. She would be good.

The truth no longer matters in this country. The only information that most Americans get these days is whatever a Democrat is saying. And whatever any Democrat says is always reported as truth. We are in very dark time now. I wish I could see a light at the end of the tunnel but it seems the tunnel is neverending darkness at this point in our history.

A “reset” button with an error in translation, IIRC.

Examiner Editorial: Hillery Clinton was not a great secretary of state>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Thats true. But what was she?

Hillery was a straw man, a place holder who galavanted all over the world making feel good speeches to the “league of nations” while Obama ran affairs of state directly out of the White House. This gave Obama secrecy and plausible deniabilty on issues of concern.

Hillery was all about smoke and mirrors, and taking the blame for presidential treason in Libya.

These people are fascists. Throw the conventional wisdom out the window that Obama and the executive arm of government are prima facie legitimate. They are bent on the destruction of the constitution , and the destruction of America.

Now we will have straw men Hagel , Brannon, and Kerry with portfolios that will be run directly out of the White House, allowing more fascist activity to go undiscovered until too late. But this 2nd cycle will be so egregious that the Republic and the Constitution will be destroyed.

The HOuse needs to proceed with an immpeachment investigation, and draw up articles to send to the senate. We take the Senate in 2014, and impeach Obama and his fascist minions. Its that or nuclear war.

From what I understand Obama gave it to her (offered her the VP) to keep her tied up for 4 years, but then didn’t bother to let her handle anything of importance...

Which she would have screwed up anyway..... but just sayin’

Hillary was so bad, and she accomplished so little as Secretary of State, that it would be accurate to say she carried on the tradition of the other incompetent females who occupied that position by virtue of their plumbing as opposeed to their competence.

So now we have a hat trick of sorry female Secretaries of State:
Madeline Albright, Condi Rice and Hillary Clinton.

All three left the militant muslim world stronger, and the USA foreign presence and influence weaker than when they assumed office.

Helluva job, girls.

Hillary may not have been a great Secretary of State, but, in her younger days, she was one heck of a snocone girl. Nobody could squeeze a syrup bottle like Hillary. She could hold a snocone for hours, and it would never melt. All the warmth of a frozen chicken.

she has the world going straight to hell... and the Muslim Brother/Islamic Caliphate on the rise in a dozen countries...
her only explanation is that she was “only following orders,” an excuse that history has already judged wanting...

prepare for a century or two of very VERY serious problems in the world now that Obama and Hillary and Company have released, and armed, the evil genie, scourge of the 7th century

With the possible exception of motherhood and carpetbag Senate win, Hillary has failed at every major thing she’s done, from the time she was fired from the Watergate committee staff through her failed marriage, disgraceful lies to protect her philander-in-chief husband, unethical conduct as a lawyer and while Bill was in office, getting shellacked by upstart Obama, and now as Sec. State. This is just the continuation of a long pattern of ineffectiveness that is construed by the media as brilliant performance. (The same people who think Joe Biden has been the best VP ever...)

“I must say, she surprised me by a lack of attention hogging”

IMOH S of S was suppose to be nothing more than a resume enhancing box to check prior to a POTUS run in 2016 for cankles. Hopefully the Benghazi fiasco will damage that effort but if the media has anything to do with it I seriously doubt it will hurt her at all....................A Republican in the same situation however would of course been publicly tarred and feathered by now.

Clinton is a failure.

She and Obama stood by while a revolution in Iran was ripe for the taking a few years ago. Yet she presided over radicals replacing out allies in Libya and Egypt.

In addition, she has allowed massive killing to take place in Syria.

She's massively incompetent. Get her out of there fast.

“A “reset” button with an error in translation, IIRC.”

As an American, I was extremely embrassed by the “reset” button.

1) It seemed like the new administration was taking a shot at former President in-front of the entire world.

2) It appeared they were ready to kowtow to the ex-KGB(Maybe still KGB) agent Vladamir Putin immediately.

3) Last and definately least while arrogantly taking a swipe at Bush and his foreign policies, they still got the translation wrong.
