The new survey data is really essentially the old survey data available for the past twelve months but won't be released until Thursday, kept from the public verified several times just to be sure.

While about 8 percent of Americans are unemployed

Why would anyone take this paper seriously?

“This to me is why the recession was so all-consuming and is likely to influence the American psyche,” said Cliff Zukin, a public policy and political science professor at Rutgers and co-author of the report. “Almost everyone, four out of five, were directly or one step removed from unemployment and all that goes with it financially, socially, psychologically.”

The first time I was laid off, it was a horrible shock. The second time not so much. The third time, I cut off the CEO and HR VP with a curt "Sorry, I don't have time to talk, gotta go look for work" and headed for the exit as they were trying to sugar coat it. Working for small struggling startup firms in uncertain economic times is perilous.

Anybody entering the workforce today needs to be prepared to get laid off from day one. Keep your skills and network up to date. Maintain a strong presence on LinkedIn. Continuously retool yourself. Expect to be laid off every day you arrive at work. Be resilient and you'll do fine.

and yet this fairy gets voted in with his voter fraud and millions of dumb fools who think it;s cool to vote for the non white guy or million voting because he;s a so called brother.

Most don;t care aout losing a job or anything, so long as they get their welfare, their kids get fed at school, they get their EBT cards and I see that every day, so long as they get their medicaid and other welfare crap then thie country has gone unless a republican come tot he front, takes the party by the horns and demands they fight the media and the lazy fairy sitting in the white house
