Paul's comments on the bi-partisan spend-a-holics are worth reading.

Without details, it's hard to rate his comments on immigrants

Should be interesting to see what Rubio and Rand have to say tonight.

I hope he makes it clear that Conservatives embrace and encourage LEGAL immigration, with all the provisos it used to have.

And anything that lets illegal aliens stay here is amnesty. ANYTHING.

The fact that he took the politically correct route of failing to distinguish between legal and illegal immigration is the only detail you really need to know.

We are VERY welcoming of legal immigrants, and even a shameless demagogue like Rand cannot deny it.

I can pre-quote Rubio:

AMNESTIA MI COMPADRES!

I have not read it yet but I’m glad to see somebody addressing the immigration problem rather than trying to appease the lawbreaking illegals in this country. My friend has been waiting 5 years to get his fiancee over here just so they can get married but the red tape drags and drags.

PS: I assume that’s what you mean when you use the term “immigration”.

Does he mean immigrants or illegal aliens?

This is why the GOP is getting its arse kicked in national elections. They let the Commies control the language. Illegal aliens are NOT “immigrants.” They are invaders.

“We are the party that embraces hard work and ingenuity, therefore we must be the party that embraces the immigrant who wants to come to America for a better future,”

“We must be the party who sees immigrants as assets, not liabilities.”

Anything less than a call for the United States to adhere to the Constitution is not worth listening to.

"We must be the party who sees immigrants as assets, not liabilities.

It isn't 'immigrants' that most have a problem with. What is Paul's position on 'illegal' immigrants (a.k.a., illegal aliens)?

I seem to recall him saying he liked Rubio's plan (the update of McCain's plan), but he did not actually endorse it.

When he takes a position on the 'illegals' situation, then we will know whether his is just another amnesty pusher.

Deliberately confusing the line between legal and illegal immigrants.

Exactly! Cannot be repeated enough. Should be a tagline.
