Ansel, you’re just not thinking abstractly enough. Surely you can see the beginnings of a really good conspiracy theory in this little observation of the mother’s actions.

Had this happened in Newtown CT, it would have been held up as proof that the child (in this case Dorner) is not really dead, because people “don’t act that way” in these types of circumstances.

I’m only half kidding, sadly.
