Federal judge overturns EPA human experiments (EPA can still use humans as lab rats)

It’s a good thing the U.S Public Health Service called off the infamous Tuskegee syphilis experiments in 1972. Had someone sued to stop the horror, a federal judge like Anthony Trenga might have stopped the suit — not the experiments.

That’s precisely what Judge Trenga did on Jan. 31 in the case of the American Tradition Institute v. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

The American Tradition Institute sued the EPA in October to stop an ongoing experiment in which the agency was exposing elderly study subjects (up to 75 years of age) to concentrated levels of a deadly (according to EPA) air pollutant known as PM2.5 (soot or dust much smaller than the width of a human hair).

The lawsuit claimed the experiments were illegal in that they blatantly violated virtually every major standard developed since World War II for the protection of human study subjects used in scientific experiments.

Given that the EPA long ago determined that any exposure to PM2.5 could cause death (as well as a host of other serious health consequences) within hours or days of inhalation, the experiments are fundamentally illegal. Federal regulations and the Nuremberg Code strictly prohibit scientists from treating human subjects like expendable guinea pigs. In the experiment in question, the study subjects were asked to risk their very lives for $12 per hour. Continued.

Old folks are the guinea pigs for a lot of drugs. Just as fat people are guinea pigs for weight reduction drugs. Approved drugs get pulled off the market all the time after a lot of mishaps.

I'd say the FDA should be renamed the FDBA...Federal Drug Bribing Administration.

With ObamaCare coming online, the elderly won’t even get the $12/hr. They’ll be given all kinds of “treatments,” and when they die, the government won’t have to pay for those expensive “last days of care” that they complain about.

The FDA is an ambulance chasing lawyer’s best friend. After all, the drug has to get approved, get on the market and actually harm someone before they are able to cash-in.

They'll start going even younger. They want those social security premiums. If people die before they can collect, the politicians get to keep the loot.

Sounds like Judge Trenga is auditioning for a high tribunal position in a new Obama Reich.

The general assumption right now should be that the federal government’s medical research is now directed to finding ways of killing off older people faster. In the last year alone, “studies” have been released which discourage:

Prostate cancer screening for older men.

Breast cancer screening for older women.

Pap smears for older women.

Colorectal cancer screening for older people.

(just a few days ago) That kidney cancers should be ignored in older people, because it *might* hurt them to remove these deadly cancers.

Seeing a pattern here?

The experiments that the EPA were doing were really barbaric, considering what the EPA already knew. I remember reading about these experiments, they did things like park a diesel truck right below the air intake pipe and feed the exhaust directly to subjects.

The EPA is desperate for some proof to back up their regulations, since the global warming was exposed as a hoax. Peabody Energy is involved in a law suit with the EPA over coal regulations in which Peabody counter sued the EPA, asking that the EPA show new factual science to back up their claims and justify the regulations. The EPA is just trying to comply, so what if they have to sacrifice a few lives? You have to break some eggs to make an omlet. It was the same with the people who died in Benghazi.

In an effort to forestall the Peabody law suit, the Obama administration has been supporting the export of coal, to the chagrin of the greens. The problem with the export idea is that sub-bituminous coal is not worth exporting because the shipping costs exceed the value of the cargo. Sub-bituminous coal needs to be used here in the US or not at all.

Reading the article led me to believe the EPA is still conducting the tests to this day.

They are still conducting them. right now. Even some of the Greens are upset by the tests. They are really unconscionable.

The real problem is that some of the Greens believe in what they are doing, but most do not. Obama is one of those who does not and the Greens know that Obama will throw parts of their agenda out if it is expedient to do so.

For instance, right now, Obama is working on approving the TransPacific Partnership agreement, a trade treaty which is puts US corporation under the oversight of an international trade committee, much like the World Bank for Banking. The agreement allows foreign countries to invest in US corporations under the same laws and regulations as the home country and pay a carbon tax to the trade committee instead to the US. The Greens are livid. They are desperate to find proof that their regulations are necessary.

The TPP is very dangerous. It is straight out of the Agenda 21. If you like the World Bank, you will love the new TPP because it is formed around the same principle, to level the economic playing field and handicap the US. The Greens hate it because of the lack of protection for the US environment and the loss of revenue. The Greens thought that they were getting the Cap and Tax money to spend on their pet projects and finance more regulators.
