Senator: EPA lied about using private emails
The Washington Times ^ | March 8, 2013 | Stephen Dinan

Environmental Protection Agency officials lied when they said a top official only once used his private email for public business, Sen. David Vitter said on Friday as he released copies of several emails in which that official conducted business with the EPA’s director and with outside groups.

The revelation comes on the heels of charges from Republicans and a private sector author that former agency Director Lisa Jackson also had a private email address she used to avoid open-government transparency laws.

All government business is required to be done on official emails so that it is available for open-records requests. But James Martin, who resigned earlier this year as administrator of EPA’s Region 8, used his email to give advice to the Environmental Defense Fund and to correspond with Ms. Jackson.

~snip~

In one of the emails released by Mr. Vitter, Mr. Martin advised the EDF, an environmental group, about where hearings on EPA rules for greenhouse gases should be held for maximum effect. Mr. Martin said holding the hearing in Denver “will make Roy Palmer nervous” — apparently a reference to Xcel Energy’s senior vice president for public policy.

No doubt about it, especially if she’d been in a Republican administration.

This whole, entire has been caught lying since day one. Over and over.

And yet, not a thing will be done about it. Some would argue that’s because the Senate is controlled by Reid. Wouldn’t matter.

Nothing will be done to upset the occupier and his ilk.

This is the scam where the EPA advises an eco-lawyer outfit where-how-what to to sue the EPA and the Federal Gov't so this eco-lawyer-fund can collect damages. This is how the taxpayers end up funding these POS eco-scamsters

My guess is They also work to line up a favorable judge.

You are absolutely right and that’s why they conduct business communications illegally. I’ve no doubt at all this is why both Jackson and Martin left the EPA, they both should be prosecuted and any others there’s evidence against who participated.

What difference does it make to this criminally run administration? It’s not like anyone will be sacked for it.

If you're referring to the scandal a few years back it doesn't seem to have any bearing on the pathetic actions of the EPA or Lisa Jackson, but then I suppose you could consider Jackson a whore for Obama in a way.
