The Boy Scout movement in Canada was devastated when they started permitting female and then homosexual troop leaders. It’s dying a slow death and any parent that would permit their son to join the Boy Scouts of Canada as it is currently structured should be jailed for child endangerment.
“Local control” is problematic too. One troop may exclude gays, another allow ... what to do when the troops get together? Is each troop notified of the “orientation” of all leaders/members of the other? What reputation will precede them? “Oh, they’re the HATERS troop!” “Hey, he wants you!”

Oh yes!!!!! I was a MAJOR Dr. Laura fan—you can probably see her influence in my posts. I was a stay-at-home Mom and I loved her show...and knew she was absolutely correct. I was living what she was saying-—and actually studied childhood development for fun since I had 5 children and had time.
I saw her destruction and marginalization and she did back off eventually and her influence was destroyed. They went after her past and targeted her. (Everyone has done dumb stuff so it is easy in the press—which homosexuals control—to destroy people’s reputation in a short time.) It is surprising that Savage is still around. He must not have any evidence of serious wrong doing. But, like I say—that point which he will address, is why he is always marginalized and he has backed off that issue somewhat after his TV show.
I raised four boys and they are all married and fathers-—I put them in Catholic schools and didn’t allow most TV shows-—never MTV. I knew the effect of ideas on the minds of children.
Toxic cultures (like ours) will destroy civil society. We are seeing ours collapsing. We will NOT be able to protect the innocence that children need to form normal sexual identities-—with no morality it is vile, evil cultures—like the Weimar Republic, a culture which allowed homosexual boy scouts. Very sick parents.

Two quick comments. First, we don’t have sons but we have always made a financial contribution during their annual fundraising campaign in February. When the board decided to delay their policy decision until May, I reluctantly told our fundraiser (a personal friend) that I would be delaying any contribution until after the board’s decision.
Second, It is my personal experience that folks who feel they are on the right side of the Lord’s standards don’t require approval from anyone. If someone lacks that assurance, then all the approval in the world can’t make up for it. Nothing will ever make the gays happy.
MTV, and other outlets like that is never on, those girlie mags are not allowed, when she tells me how she hears other girls , not all mind but a handful talking about certain grown up stuff I tell her that these girls have no idea what they;re talking about, that they are not women, and they;re trying to be cool to you but are exactly the opposite.
All my boys, oldest a boxer won state champs and before a fight he goes in the corner, on one knee and prays, all are popular, all doing well in their sports.
My daughter is also getting all A’s and since she saw Casey Anthony got off her charges she now is striving to be a judge.

But our culture has become so toxic, I am fearful for my young grandchildren. I understand how influential and seductive culture is-—they are targeting the kids-—and homosexual marriage is to get to children in formative years and sexualize them.....for the Cultural Marxists knew it is easy to destroy morality in children with sex education-—it removes morality from the act. Lukacs destroyed a whole country with sex ed in Hungary in early 1900’s.

I also wouldn’t put my kid into a military with Dempsey, Hagel, and Brennan as part of the command structure of this nation’s defense. Who in their right mind would put their children’s lives in these people’s hands.
it is hard work but like you said this is what we do as parents.
We sit down with them , we talk to them every day, we warn them off the dangers and we teach them morals and manners.
The amount of lazy parents I see today is stunning, most have no idea what their kids do what they;re being told.

I am from Massachusetts but I had forgotten a couple of things that you mentioned such as the lesbians going to Catholic Charities and then Catholic Charities having to close its adoption agency.
Homosexuality is being placed higher up on the scale of what should be valued. It is even higher than the right to religious expression and conscience. Wow! Did you even think that things would come to this?
