WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel said on Thursday that North Korea's provocative actions and belligerent tone had "ratcheted up the danger" on the Korean peninsula, but he denied that the United States had aggravated the situation by flying stealth bombers to the region.

"We have to take seriously every provocative, bellicose word and action that this new young leader has taken so far" since coming to power, Hagel told a Pentagon news conference, referring to Kim Jong-un.

Make things in America again.

Just saying.

You cannot support a military to lead the world, without industry.

Hagel reminds me of the incompetent Secretary of Interior turned President in the movie ‘By Dawns Early Light’

nUKE THE ENEMY BEFORE THE ENEMY NUKES U.S., WHILE WE STILL HAVE THE CHANCE!

The Korean War ended because of one reasone ONLY.............On May 19 1953, the Joint Chiefs recommended direct air and naval operations against China, including the use of nuclear weapons. The National Security Council endorsed the JCS recommendation the next day.

Dulles, the Secretary of State was visiting India and told Nehru to deliver a message to Zhou Enlai: if peace was not speedily attained, the United States would begin to bomb north of Yalu, and US had recently tested atomic shells.

wow, what would happen if SOUTH KOREA got nukes? Great Idea for U.S. Make it happen.

“We’re going to have to deal with that reality, and that means we’re going to have to prioritize and make some cuts and do what we got to do,” Mr. Hagel said. To meet the spending decrease, he said, the Pentagon will sharply cut payments for operating its bases in the United States as well as reduce training for troops — but only for those troops not preparing to deploy overseas into combat. At the same news conference, Gen. Martin E. Dempsey, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, noted that the spending reductions being imposed on the Pentagon are not the deepest in history, but they are the swiftest because they are being imposed halfway through the fiscal year. “It’s the steepest decline in our budget ever,” General Dempsey said. He said that by Monday, the Defense Department will have spent 80 percent of its operating funds under the reduced spending plan. “We don’t yet have a satisfactory solution to that shortfall, and we’re doing everything we can to stretch our readiness out,” General Dempsey said. He described a process in which the Defense Department “will have to trade, at some level and to some degree, our future readiness for current operations.”

The North Koreans put the hurt on us pretty good with their vintage weapons before.

You can do a lot of damage when you are fanatical and do not care at all about your own men.

They don't have to win, just hurt us very badly. Do you think China will stand by if we start advancing up the peninsula again?

You can’t rule out the possibility that North Korea will do something really stupid, and this time South Korea will retaliate. And away we go.

Don't worry, the Sequester is also destroying our defense industrial base and workforce.

To: SkyPilot; a fool in paradise

An editorial in today’s WSJ about the leadership vacuum in the world today, which is something that historically provokes major wars. The fool in the White Hut will “lead” us into one before long, while the pederasts, the abortionists, Obamafoam users, and teacher’s unions applaud. The Norks see it, know it, and are playing it. The Gay Leader, or whatever the baby Kim’s nick, is smarter than than the Hahvard graduate U.S. POTUS, you can bet.

War will happen and the real leaders will come and fill the vacuum, clean up, win, somewhat of peace will prevail and we’ll will become complacent again. History repeats itself.

" There is only one thing left for North korea to do and thats to actually start armed conflict. There is nothing left for them to do."

He may be right this time.

Good thing our military is in worse shape with each passing day. But don't worry America - your co-pay on your presription is free and your millions upon millions of EBT cards are re-loaded with good ole CA$H on April 1st.
