Runners getting set to take part in the Boston Marathon were warned beforehand that they were going to die, said a Squamish resident who took part in the race.
Three people were killed and more than 140 were injured when two bombs exploded near the finish line of the famed 42.2-kilometre running event on Monday (April 15).
Mike Heiliger, 59, said a woman holding several bags was telling runners who were picking up their pre-race packages in downtown Boston on Saturday (April 13) that they were going to die if they participated in the event.
I was downtown on Saturday and you know, you see these people on the street and think it's just some nutbar, he told The Chief from his Boston hotel on Monday. It was a little creepy because you can identify who the runners are and I heard her say to this runner two feet away from me that, 'If you run tomorrow you're going to die.'

If you run tomorrow you're going to die
The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
Sorta reminds me of the muslim kid who looked out the window at the Twin Towers and told his teacher they wouldn’t be there tomorrow.
Funny how that story vanished down the memory hole...
ok so someone prewarn them but I have a question. What is a Squamish? sounds like one of the Wookie’s relative.
Adam Gadahn posted a taunt on the MSNBC bulletin board the night before 9/11.
Wow. I didn’t know that.
I wonder how many people say at each marathon “you’re going to die”. Even if this particular instance is true, I don’t see the warning as a story. In the legends associated with the Battle of Marathon, Pheidippides ran roughly 25-26 miles from Marathon to Athens after the battle, to announce the Greek victory, and died of exhaustion after delivering the message.
Now here’s something we can work with.
He probably had a vision, which are quite often correct.
Thanks! I’ll check it later when I get on my PC.
SHE had a vision I meant.... Squamish is in BC.
I can’t imagine anyone saying “you’re going to die”. To tell someone ‘if they participate in a race the next day, they will die” is very suspect, unless she’s crazy. That is not normal..at all.
FWIW, If someone were to take a look at me while I was registering to run a Marathon, I’m sure they would be compelled to tell me that I would die if I ran the race, and they’d probably be right.
I thought I read somewhere where none of the runners from African nations participated this year. Is this true or was this debunked?
No idea, but I have others communicate witnesses who said that law enforcement looked very nervous beforehand.
Somewhere in one of the articles posted there was a comment that I believe said four African runners did not participate stating they were ill. Wish I could remember where I saw it but too much going on this week, too many articles and too many hours staring at the screen.
“He probably had a vision, which are quite often correct.”
I agree... In Acts 2 where Peter is quoting the prophet Joel from the OT....
14 Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say. 15 These people are not drunk, as you suppose. Its only nine in the morning! 16 No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
17 In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams.
18 Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days,
and they will prophesy.
Time is a function of the operational frequency of consciousness divided by the speed of light. To the extent you cleanse your soul, you can increase the operational frequency beyond the speed of light and the gift of prophesy is a natural attribute.
This is the same reason for the time distortion between Heaven & earth. A day in Heaven is like many years here.
