Yes, I agree. Everything is bass ackwards. In a nation whose first amendment to the constitution guarantees free expression of religion, we have a president who hires someone who wishes to criminalize such expression as treason. And a press so complicit that he can openly boast of it. And a congress so neutered they likely won't say boo about it. May God help us!
The easiest and quickest way would be for the house to simply cut off the money.

And as for the pentagon, the action being taken towards “extremest” religious groups is on the face of it religious discrimination, persecution, whatever.

I am having a hard time believing our country has come to this.
The real mystery: Our high school 50 year reunion was in 1999. I came away from that day with an impression that will last for as long as I live, and that was the depth and the sincerity of my classmates religion.
Prayers and other manifestations of their religion were frequent and sincere.
Made me realize how far out of their world I am.

Sorry for hte many posts but we ARE sunk- the tide has turned- we saw it with the last election- By all rights, there is NO WAY dear leader should have won- but people turned a blind eye to the damage he’s doen htis coutnry, and to Christians, and to the supreme court, and to individual rights, turned a blind eye to the FACT that he has splurged on hismelf and family to the tune of over $1.5 billion dollars while Americans all across the nation lost hteir jobs, their homes, their lives- and Americans put hteir hands otu and said “Gimem soem of that free gubmint money quick before it runs out” (There was even a black woman who said that exact same type of thing with a crap eatign grin on her face whiel she said it- and when asked where the ‘free money’ was goign to coem from- she just grinned more and shrugged and said “I’ts just free” - I knew right then that this coutnry was in seriosu trouble as I realized that sadly many Americans felt liek she did
