‘Obama policy will lead region to war,’ warns ex-Iraqi MP who’s paid heavy price for dissent
Times of Israel ^ | 5/10/13 | Elhanan Miller

Posted on 05/13/2013 12:05:56 PM PDT by Dave346

Mithal Al-Alusi, whose two sons were killed in a Baghdad ambush soon after he visited Israel, tells The Times of Israel he feels betrayed by the superpower which allowed him to return to his homeland

Mithal Al-Alusi is angry. He is angry with Iran for supporting global terrorism. He is angry with Syrian President Bashar Assad for oppressing and killing his own people. He is angry with his own prime minister, Nouri al-Maliki of Iraq, for colluding with the two.

But most of all, he is angry with US President Barack Obama for allowing this all to happen.

“Obama has handed Iraq over to Iran and said ‘do what you like’,” Alusi, a former Iraqi member of parliament who hails from the tribal Sunni province of al-Anbar in western Iraq, told the Times of Israel in a telephone interview from his home in Erbil, the capital of the autonomous Kurdistan region in northern Iraq.

Ten years after freeing Iraq from the tyranny of Saddam Hussein, the Obama administration has allowed a no less dictatorial regime to emerge, and then handed it over to its avowed enemy Iran, Alusi said.

“The current regime is dictatorial, uninterested in the law, the constitution, or human rights,” he charged. “Saddam Hussein was a professional murderer and a professional liar. The current regime simply belongs to Iran. Members of the ruling party openly admit working for Iranian intelligence and brag about it.”

Hugging the current Iraqi regime, Alusi holds, is the last thing the Obama administration should be doing right now.

“America is making a big mistake. Its policy will lead our region into war,” he added. “This region must be liberated from corrupt regimes like those in Syria and Iran, but also in [US-allied states] like Bahrain.”

War is the plan and he has already implemented it.

The move is on to consolidate the Muslim world under the Muslim Brotherhood.

People still believe 0bama's foreign policy is simply bumbling and incompetence.

0bama has set Israel up the bomb...

Sept. 11, 2012

Netanyahu gets the cold shoulder.

U.S. has no right to block Israel on Iran: Netanyahu

The embassy in Cairo puts out an apology for a movie most of the rioters know nothing about.

Former deputy national security adviser: US response to embassy attack ‘bizarre and unacceptable’

0bama sent a letter to Tehran assuring them that the U.S. will do nothing to help Israel. That takes that off of the table removing a big worry for them that might have made them think twice. Iran is good to go now with 0bama's blessing.

We don't support Israeli attack, US tells Iran

The "movie" turns out to be a red herring excuse to cover for the rioters.

CNN: Protests against film a ‘diversion. Attack was planned’

Quite a day of unfortunate coincidences. Israel was rebuffed and there were signals being sent to the MB and Iran. 0bama is giving the "go ahead" to the Muslim world to take out Israel.

Egypt intelligence warns (on Sept 4th) of attacks on Israel, US embassies

Congress was warned about Libya last month

U.S. denies premeditation report
"The Obama administration is flatly denying a blaring British newspaper report that the U.S. diplomats in Libya were killed as a result of a “continuing security breach,” and that “credible information” about possible attacks had been ignored. A U.S. official told POLITICO: “There's no intelligence indicating that the attack in Benghazi was premeditated.”"

Is that all incompetence? Or did it take planning to make all that happen?
Cloward & Pliven strategy and community organizing on a global scale?

This isn't just about getting re-elected, that's certainly a side benefit, this is about the big enchilada. No more Israel. The United States of the Muslim Brotherhood in the ME. ie the new Caliphate. 0bama started WWIII on Sept. 11th.

After all, he’s leading the US to an internal war also.

"Arab Spring" will eventually be THE most damning legacy of Bambi. Carter is still getting crap about his Iranian policies that led to a Muslim takeover.

Really hate to say it, but sometimes third-world dictators are better for the planet overall.

That said, how better off is the USA and World in general since the Arab Spring?
Let's count the ways:
Egypt is a basket case where they used to have a decent economy from tourism.
Libya, well, we know how great that is working out.
Syria, although Assad still has control, most likely will fall to the Islamist rebels or the West will have to get involved if he keeps using chemical weapons, and could possibly start a regional war.
Lebanon is nothing more that a Hizbullah stronghold.
Gaza is well, Hamas...no redeeming value. They continue to cut their own heads and those of their children in the most barbaric ritual, while teaching their children to hate everything.
Saudi Arabia is still as oppressive as ever. Now that we have so much oil, we should tell them to go pound sand...pun intended.
Then you have Somalia, Sudan, Tunisia, Chechnya and a bunch of other Muslim nations killing each other in mass quantities.
Oops, how could I forget Iran that wants to kill the world?

The only 2 reasonable countries in the region are mainly Israel, and to a lessor extent Jordan. Yes, some of these conflicts have been around long before the Arab Spring, but the others have been encouraged by what I call, the "Muslim Winter".

Here's my 3 wishes from a Genie:
1. All muslims just disappear or lose their cult faith;
2. America reverts to Constitutionalism and why it was once called the Greatest Nation on the planet;
3. I have a gazillion dollars...har! Sorry you don't get any. It's mine!

Te sad thing is that, by recent accounts, Gaddafi was actually running Libya in an enlightened (for the region) fashion.

He was defacto King, but he actually did reasonably well for his people and pretty much quit the international terror scene after Bush read him the riot act.

I agree, and especially after he got his house bombed. He chilled quite a bit. Still a SOB, but nowhere near the current Islamist SOB's. Now what do we have with the Arab Spring in Libya? Islamists running wild! As they are doing all over the Middle East. I predict that this radical Islam will spread world-wide, especially into Indonesia (the largest Muslim county in the world). Just watch...you read it here first. And I want a prize if I'm correct...haha!

Sure you and I are going to get crap about understanding that Gaddafy was not the worse, mostly because of the Scotland Aircraft bombing. However, I will agree with anyone who says a secular dictatorship is bad. Problem: Islam theocracy dictatorship is worse. So chose your poison.

Interestingly, that under Gaddafy's rule, women were allowed almost the same rights as men. Now that the Islamists have take over, well, just read. Not sure which faction of Islam they are (Sunni or Shia), but both are equally non rights.

I just wish that Saudi Arabia (Sunni/Salafi/Wahabissm) would go to war with Iran (Shi'a) and kill each other until they no longer exist. I'd be fine with supplying the Saudis with more weaponry to be on equal footing with Iran so they could fight a 10 year war. That would keep those barbarians busy so they would ignore us, hopefully. I think it would be worth our tax dollars.

Now that we have all this shale oil popping up everywhere, we simply don't need Saudi Arabia anymore, nor Venezuela. But then our current president is a Muslim who bowed to a Saudi king, so that is unlikely to happen in the near future. However, that prick won't be here forever.

Which major Obama policy intiatives are successful?:

1. Democratcare (it’s not Obamacare, but the Democrats dream for decades, just like it never was Hilarycare)

2. The Stimulus

3. The Arab “Spring”

He’s a failure through and through and was reelected over a better man. That’s a triumph of government schooling and media complacency, not Obama’s policy successes.

That poor lady is still waiting for Obama to pay her gas and light bills.
