Man with ties to Boston bombing suspect admits role in 2011 murders; shot during FBI questioning

Dead Boston bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev and another man — who was killed by the FBI on Wednesday — murdered three people in Massachusetts after a drug deal went wrong in 2011, law enforcement sources tell NBC News.

Sources say that what began as a drug ripoff ended in a triple homicide when Tsarnaev and friend Ibragim Todashev realized their victims would later be able to identify them.

Todashev was killed by a federal agent while giving a statement on his role on Wednesday in Orlando, Fla.

The man who was shot, Todashev, 27, allegedly attacked an agent with a knife while confessing to the 3-year-old slayings. He was not suspected of having played any role in the bombing that killed three people and injured scores more in April, but he did confess to being involved in a brutal Boston-area slaying two years ago, investigators said.

Gee, what a shame.

Now he won’t be able to say anything more about who helped him, or who he met with, or who he got orders from.

Really too bad.

"He was not suspected of having played any role in the bombing that killed three people and injured scores more in April"

But quite likely an adherent to the anti-Christ, Allah.

"while giving a statement on his role"

Really? They expect us to believe this junk? Is the FBI incompetent? They can't take a statement securely? WTF?

The guy was an MMA fighter and won his last fight with something called a guillotine hold (or chop, I forget which). Until last year, he was registered as such with the state of Florida. I don’t know why he wasn’t now.

In any case, he wasn’t your ordinary schmuck giving a statement and I’m sure with a knife he was pretty dangerous.

Why, do you object to having another jihadi bite the dust?

So let’s get this straight: They have in front of them a known associate of a notorious terrorist who was involved in the murder of three people with a knife, and is a Mixed Martial Arts trained fighter, and somehow the FBI let him get ahold of a KNIFE!?!?

WHAT THE HECK?

Let’s just say it is either raw incompetence or the FBI is covering something up.

I don’t know which.

I like terrorist muzzies waterboarded before we hang them, so don’t take me the wrong way.

I just smell a rat.

Dear livius,

“Why, do you object to having another jihadi bite the dust?”

I object to the regime murdering all the folks who would testify as to what really happened in Boston.

Looks like it happened in his home so it would be pretty easy to grab a knife.

What really happened in Boston was that two jihadis blew up a lot of people, and I think that’s pretty well known.

To my knowledge, though, they haven’t even indicted the one who survived. They had 30 days to do it, but for some reason, Holder’s Justice Dept. just couldn’t bring themselves to do it. The prosecutor was going to ask for an extension, but if he doesn’t get it, the terrorist will simply walk out of the hospital free.

My 83 year old Mom couldn’t get in to see the VA people at the courthouse without having her sewing kit taken away first. You can walk into the FBI headquarters with a knife?
