'Tyranny just around the corner' (Farah declares, 'Obama's goal is stomping out all opposition')
WND ^ | June 10, 2013 | Joseph Farah

I guess Barack Obama wasn’t kidding when he spoke to the graduating class of Ohio State University May 5, just over a months ago.

Many didn’t notice the ominous remark he made in that speech.

That was, of course, just before the nation learned that his administration’s Internal Revenue Service had been selectively harassing organizations and individuals based on their political leanings.

That was, of course, before the nation learned that his administration’s Justice Department had been monitoring the phone records of news organizations including the Associated Press and Fox News.

That was, of course, before the nation learned that his administration had been creating a system of eavesdropping on the communications of all Americans that would make George Orwell blush.

And that was, of course, before his administration went into full-tilt stonewalling mode on a jamboree of scandals that have all of our heads spinning.

What did Barack Obama say on May 5?

He warned about listening to voices of dissent warning “that tyranny is always lurking just around the corner.”

He added, “You should reject those voices.”

Obviously, you should never reject those voices. Those are the voices of reason – and Obama is the one ushering in tyranny, which we now know is not lurking around the corner; it’s here.

Was that what he was trying to tell us?

Let me remind you of some of the voices Obama would like you to reject:

“The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions, that I wish it to be always kept alive. It will often be exercised when wrong, but better so than not to be exercised at all.” – Thomas Jefferson

“The spirit of encroachment tends to consolidate the powers of all the departments in one, and thus to create

The tyranny will only get worse because the Republicans have been threatened to not cross the line. They can bitch and moan but they won’t cross the line. They’ve been threatened.

It’s not what Obama wants, it’s what all of the Left want. He is just their figurehead.

We had Tyranny under Lincoln the fine Illinois senator. 150 years later his Tyranny brings us the mixed race Illinois/Kenyan Tyrant. I'm not talking about slavery. The loss of states rights has slowly turned this country into what it is today. Some crazy bi!ch from San Francisco can become speaker of the house and represent all states along with her gay pimp Bwayny Fwank serving up the destruction of our housing market. I have no problem with them serving “their” constituents but the rest of America did not vote for them.

I think so too.

Obama’s cover is almost up. Very radical to more people each day. DHS hoarding ammunition, the congress allowing a court to take in private info by emails/phone calls while these elitists on TV say all is good, righteous at the NSA.

If anyone has the goods, time to drop it before we are totally in the streets with chaos.

If there’s an angel, we need them now. Obama has done so much damage to all of us as a nation and to all those individual citizens who he has targeted is beyond un American. Imo.

Lincoln never made it to Senator, as Douglas won the race. The South chose poorly in attempting to make a stand on states rights over human bondage (not that the North was morally superior, since they didn’t want freed slaves moving up en masse to compete with working class Whites for jobs). A lot of hypocrisy all around.

The Dems and GOP are the two sides of the dialectical process. Both are controlled and provide the sheeple will false hope while the country becomes a tyranny.

During the American Revolution there were very militant loyalists and those were not so militant. But, they were still loyalists who were determined that America should remain under the Crown.

We should look at the two parties in the same way. Both are traitorous and should be shunned.

This is all happening because Congressional Republican leaders are complicit. They are always trying to find common ground, always assigning good faith to the Democrats. Good faith and the Democrats—contradiction in terms.

It’s worth noting that in spite of all the publicity about denied 501 C 4 status grants for TEA Party groups by the IRS, none has yet reported actually getting 501 C 4 status. Yet, more time has passed since the scandal broke than it took for Obama’s brother to get his status granted.

THE LAST BATTLE FOR FREEDOM IS UNDER WAY…

By the end of Glenn Beck’s #1 bestselling political thriller The Overton Window, a young rebel named Molly Ross had torn aside the curtain to reveal a shadow war being waged for the future of America. In the six months since then, her fight for freedom hasn’t gone well. Marked as traitors and hunted by ruthless government-sanctioned mercenaries using the most advanced surveillance technologies ever created, Ross and her “Founders’ Keepers” find themselves cornered and standing alone. but the fight is far from over.

The battle lines in this bitter rivalry are as old as civilization itself: On one side, an unlikely band of ordinary Americans ready to make their last stand in defense of self-rule, freedom, and liberty—and on the other, an elite cabal of self-styled tyrants who believe that unlimited power should be wielded only by the chosen few. That group, led by an aging, trillionaire puppet-master named Aaron Doyle, will stop at nothing to destroy the myth that man is capable of ruling himself.

As Doyle prepares to make his final move toward a dark, global vision for humanity’s future, new allies join the fight and old enemies change sides. In the midst of it all, Molly draws together a small but devoted group willing to risk their lives to infiltrate one of the most secure locations on earth—a place holding long-standing secrets that, if revealed, would forever change the way Americans view their rare, extraordinary place in history. Exposing these truths, and the real-life game of chess being played for mankind’s freedom, is their last chance to save the country they love...
