Hubby and I have been paying 10% of our income for health insurance since they started talking about Obamacare. Our rates immediately started going up. Now it is over 10%, almost 13%.
Congress can kiss my behind.

For the past decade Hubby and I have paid more than 20% of our income for our health insurance policies.

That is for a 5,000 deductible no perscription drug benefit bare bones individual policies.

When Hubby became eligible for Medicare and a supplement, that helped somewhat. In 2012 we paid 1100.00 per month which is more than $13000.00 Per year for his insurance and my individual policy.

Now that I am on Medicare and a supplement. It’s around $600.00 per month which is around 15% of our income.

Look on the bright side, If Congress Critters and their aides quit, it could be a good house cleaning to get rid of the entrenched bozos. Well one can hope anyway.LOL
