How does that compare with black-on-black homicides in the same time period? How does that compare with black on white homicides in that same period?
Are you out of your mind? Do you actually think that they were all reported, especially since many of them were done with the cooperation of local law enforcement? Why don’t you call up the Russian embassy and ask them how many Jews were raped and killed in pogroms, and then when you’re done with that, get any Turk to talk to you about the Armenian genocide - oh wait, according to the Turks, that never happened.
Really? There have been numerous occasions of white people hanging from trees while blacks look on laughing?
You strike me as somebody who spends a lot of time on the internet, because people just dislike your attitude and style of argumentation in person.
Do you actually think that they were all reported, especially since many of them were done with the cooperation of local law enforcement?
The source of the statistics was the Tuskegee Institute, a historically black college founded by Booker T Washington. I'm going to guess that they were as diligent as anybody you are likely to meet, regarding digging up every incident which could be labeled a lynching.
My point is, that by 1950, lynching had become insignificant compared to black-on-black violence.
In 2008 there were 2,722 blacks murdered by other blacks. Meanwhile, from 1882 thru 1968, there were just 3,445 blacks lynched.
The Bloods and the Crips have killed more blacks than the Klan ever did.
Perhaps that isn't their style. They seem to prefer beating people to death. Here's a list for your edification.
Also ask Reginald Denny.
Your friends do.
“she was a single welfare mother who made good”
She was married and divorced & had an affair with a married man for over ten years before she met her current husband.
“1989, she divorced her husband, Jimmy Deen, to whom she had been married since 1965”

Still don’t think she should be fired.
I don’t care one way or the other, let the viewers decide. I can’t stand her so no skin off my nose either way. She isn’t the nice southern lady the Food Network made her out to be. that is their problem now.
