President Obama pledged $7 billion in aid Sunday to provide electricity to sub-Saharan Africa, as he warned Africans to be wary of exploitation by other countries, including the U.S. “I’m calling for America to up our game when it comes to Africa,” Mr. Obama said in a speech at the University of Capetown in South Africa, midway through his weeklong tour of the continent. “We want to unleash the power of entrepreneurship and markets to create opportunity here in Africa.”

Said he’s gonna display these tanks at all the major gay pride parades. I guess we should assume he’s bringing the Rainbow Warriors’ sparkle tanks to Africa too. Yep, looks like the downfall of America is coming soon.
The fact that bam hasn’t been arrested and put on ice to await formal charges is proof that none of the top military brass he comes into contact with daily took their oaths seriously.

I’ll say one thing for Putin - despite his fascist and proto-Soviet tendencies, he’s a Russian nationalist and he will defend his country’s interests internationally. But then again, he doesn’t spend $ 100 million on a tour of Africa.

South Africa is an interesting study on how one of the prosperous countries in the world declined to third world status in such a short period of time.
Then another study would be the USA beginning in 2008 - from prosperity to poverty.
