Relative to what..? Bengazi is only second to Tripoli in Libya. And for very long East Libya was it's own Emirate, with Bengazi overwhelmingly in control of it.

Bengazi already had been a focal point for Islamic kooks in North Africa for quite some time --Bengazi was the Animal House of both kooky and spooky. It was very, very much on the CIA's radar-screen.

If memory serves me right the entire arms trade through Turkey matter was quite complicated. They had two terrorist groups fighting for them in Syria. One had links to Al Qeada and one I think had links to the Muslim Brotherhood. Supposedly Stevens was set to make a decision on which group got what from the latest ship to sail into the Turkish port loaded with arms from Libya. My initial guess was that Al Qeada was not going to take no for an answer. Hence the attackers were seen wearing Al Qeada emblems. But wearing Al Qeada emblems during an attack could very well be miss direction.

Of course it was or WHY would the Obozo administration be going to the EXTREME lengths that it has to convince the public that there is "nothing here... move along citizens"...

Look at what was going on in the Middle East. Obama and Hillary were doing whatever they wanted to do. They helped overthrow the government of Libya. Where were the protests? Where were the outraged news reports? It looked like Hillary and Obama could get away with anything. What if you were head of a nation that considers itself as competition to the US? Would you want to smack Hillary and Obama in the mouth and draw the world’s attention to Libya? I wonder what Putin would do?

Why did Hillary and Obama use US taxpayer funded personnel, equipment and facilities to overthrow the government of Libya? And if you think the Democrats are stalling on this because they don’t want the info to come out that they were providing Libyan anti-aircraft missiles to the opposition in Syria, then ask your friends and neighbors about it. Ask them if they would be upset because our government might have supplied some old Libyan anti-aircraft missiles to the opposition in Syria. They’ll yawn. And the Democrats know that. The Democrats aren’t afraid that Americans will find out they were running guns. They are afraid of Americans finding out other shenanigans of Hillary and Obama. Why did Hillary and Obama use Us taxpayer funded personnel, equipment and facilities to overthrow the government of Libya?
