The arrogance of a Democratic administration and the misguided Republican senators (Egypt)
One News Now ^ | August 16, 2013 | Dr. Michael Youssef

You would have to be living on Mars to not realize that U.S. foreign policy, especially our Middle East policy, is a disaster .

With the help of two misguided Republican senators, John McCain and Lindsey Graham, the Obama administration has managed to make America despised, disrespected, and mistrusted across the region.

The Obama administration has repeatedly said that democracy took hold in Egypt through a free and fair election. That is a mirage.

During the mere 12-month reign of the Muslim Brotherhood, we watched: •Churches being burnt •Christians beheaded in broad daylight •Minorities, including Shiites, slaughtered in the streets •Al Qaeda moving 3,000 of its Afghan fighters into the Sinai Desert •Massive amounts of arms flowing into Egypt from Libya and Turkey •The firing of non-Islamist government officials (highly qualified Muslims), who were then replaced by Muslim extremists and known terrorists •U.S. government funds landing in the laps of Muslim Brotherhood leaders

But the most egregious act of all was the silence of the White House and the State Department. They did not utter a mumbling word about any of those atrocities.

As for Libya, the arms sent from the United States to Libyan rebels...those armaments found their way into Egypt and the Sinai region. There, they were used to kill more than 100 Egyptian police and army officers. ...were the weapons that Senators McCain and Graham insisted on supplying to the Libyan rebels.

To make matters worse, the administration came to the aid of Muslim Brotherhood supporters, who set up camps in the middle of suburban Cairo... a large enough stockpile of weapons was inside the camp to destroy the country. When the police finally moved in after six weeks and removed the armed terrorists, the White House objected and strenuously demanded that the protestors’ rights be respected.

The only thing we should offer to Egypt is safe haven to the Christians. Let the muslim animals kill each other on their own dime.

A few hundred Copts in Detroit might actually fix the place because they’re industrious and actually let their children live.

The second paragraph does not refute the first one.

Democracy is rule by (a majority of) the people. If that majority favors and votes for the policies described in the second paragraph, it is impeccably democratic.

Elections of themselves do not ensure a civil society with protection for individual and minority rights will emerge from the process.

Sort of odd that the Obama is protesting Brotherhood deaths now, but not a peep when it was them offing Christians, opponents, sharia violations, and targets of opportunity.

Under the RINOs and Obama/DNC, the US government
is allied with al Qaeda/Islamic terrorism against the American people.

====> EVEN AFTER THE 911 ATROCITIES.

That’s because he is and his wife are vengeful people, they do not seek peace but payback. They incite the same in others, they and all like them are despicable people.

Goes to show is allegience with the brotherhood- he associates with criminals and terrorists.

Why is he not upset about the senseless destruction of that countries resources? Or the deaths and oppression of the other Muslims in Egypt?

Most of them are just trying to survive, and do not want Islam either.

Those people survive on tourism.. they need that industry to eat. Does Obama show any concern that his funding of a terrorist group is helping to destroy a country and will hurt millions of innocent people?

No surprise. Those institutions are the vanguard of the MB here in the US.

True enough and unfortunately given half a chance Egyptians will turn right around and vote for more of the same. Just yesterday I saw BBC interviews with people who wanted Morsi out but say they don't want government killing "our muslim brothers".

As John Bolton says. Morsi hating infidels wasn't the problem, hating the infidels and not fixing the economy is what got him into trouble. If he had found an economical means of hating the infidels he would have been just fine.

Personally I think Elbaradei will end up as president. He hates infidels with a smile and has the backing of globalist leftists like the International Crisis group.

The normal sane people do not hate each other. The average Muslim and Christian want peace, and to feed their family.

It is the extremists, the low IQ, the wrathful, who hate each other. The easily led, they ones who are susceptible to class warfare by the puppet masters.

I no more want a Muslim to die a senseless death, than I want a Christian or Jew to die a senseless death.

Most Egyptians do not hate Americans, many of them seem to understand that our leadership is sick.

Obama - they hate.

Make that a few hundred thousand Copts in Detroit. The Chaldeans already vastly outnumber the muzzies and throwing thousands of Copts on top might make the muzzies leave.

I know of good illegal immigrants too. Islam like illegals or gays is a problem, because it is an act of bastardizing into other nations’, persons’ and rleigions’ lives. And refusal or controls against that turns them into vile haters and murderers, ie. Revolutionaries who steal the wealth and identities of the entities they entered.

No matter what we do, they will hate us, both sides. Obama does the same and is proud to be hated and blamed, proud of his “sons”.

I remember idiot middle of the road people in 08 telling me that Bush’s war were too much.

I aptly answered that “peace politics” is more expensive and bloody than war.

Now with Obama in power and these huge funding messes, no one speaks ills. What happened.
