Hey Yo.
I am your “enemy for the sake of the gospel.”
But not your enemy as a human.
NO, sinners are not excused. But the way they are not excused is to rattle their cages until they see the light of grace and accept it.
However you have sold the gospel way short and no amount of clever, selective, meaning-inverting bible spouting on your part will convince me or the Holy Spirit (on which I firmly lean) otherwise. We as individuals obey our Heavenly Father now by participating in the agape love offensive dictated by Him through His son Jesus Christ. Only if that fails are we authorized to look to other measures to deal with the evils.
It is not rocket science, and not “amateurishness,” how to save a homosexual sinner. It is through the positive blessing of “sanctify God with your body.” It sounds wimpy to the worldly Christian. But when God’s promise to grant help to carry out His positive directions is actually believed... then it becomes powerful.
I frankly have to wonder personally if YOU are shying from sanctifying God with YOUR own body in some way. Quite often, hypocrisy is behind such blasphemy of gospel promises. The gospel is a gospel of yes. Not a gospel of no. If you are shying in this manner you will believe the law is the way to deal with such issues. However the good news of the gospel is that yes hypocrites too will be forgiven!
The Church never can and never will give satisfactionand the homosexualist knows it, for he knows the words against him are ineradicableto the declared and impenitent homosexual, the person who, through an act of the vermiculate will, has identified his person with a sin, whether he demands acceptance of his sin through "love," or vindication through identification of his perceived enemies as bigots. Whether he presents himself as an object of love or indignation, what he demands in either case is acceptance not of the person, but of the sin-bound and sin-defined person. He demands the declaration of spiritual authority that there is nothing objectively disordered about this binding of man to sin, and assurance that this monstrous amalgam can indeed enter the kingdom of heaven. This can never happen among Christians until they abandon Christianity, which is at war with every sin, and whose indelible constitution places all perversions of the perfect man at the muzzle of its canons.
