Generally, when yo go to the doctor now you see a PA.
The give meds, shots, write prescriptions, perform simple surgeries.....what is the difference?

PAs are required to practice under a doctor’s supervision. A relative of mine is trying to determine her career path .... she is choosing PA rather than NP (nurse practitioner) who can have their own practice ... no doctor supervising. “Unsupervised nurses” could be nurse practitioners .... should not be just registered nurses ... but then again, when has Obama(care) ever followed the rules.
