I'm sure you're right. Sometimes little bits of truth slip though the media stories. There was one on the BBC about 12-18 months back about a rebel leader who had been seriously wounded. Mentioned he was being treated at a hospital in Turkey.
Now then, how does a casualty get from the front line in Syria to a top hospital in Turkey in a few hours? Only way is to fly. Helicopter, maybe? Established flight-path, almost certainly?
