I read where Giron was also disliked for her support of some water rights policies favoring Denver over her constituents. So maybe that played a part.

RINO Gov Chicken-pooper No. He styles himself as a moderate rat, but the former mayor of sanctuary-city Denver and employer of illegal criminal aliens set up a family foundation to offer legal and financial support to the Ruckus Society, et al.
He's also a well known as a coward who won't appear in public in most of Colorado.
