In two high-profile elections on opposite sides of the country on Tuesday, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg was a big loser.
The first came in his backyard of New York, where Democratic voters are on the verge of making Bill de Blasio their nominee for mayor. ...
But perhaps the bigger loss for Bloomberg came in Colorado, where two Democratic state lawmakers were recalled after backing stricter gun laws in the wake of two mass shootings last year in Aurora, Colo., and Newtown, Conn. The NRA headlined its press release celebrating the recall elections, "Michael Bloomberg Suffers Resounding Defeat."
"His money made no difference in Colorado, where voters ousted two proponents of gun control a chilling message that Sandy Hook had no real impact on this debate.

I was looking forward to an article on this topic.
Californians, write to Darrell Steinberg (Morse’ counterpart in the CA Senate) and tell him he’s next!
It couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy—LOL!
He was so upset, he went to a speak-easy 7-11 and bought a 32oz soda
And a heavily nsfw modified Life cereal commercial came to mind.
“Give it to Mikey. Dumb (_|_) will try anything!”
He is . . . well . . . short.
Perhaps Mikey can hang out with Weiner? I hear they’re both pretty good at that.
He may be a billionaire and a shrewd businessman. But he has all the moral sense of a Nazi street thug, driven by a compulsive hatred of the way free people behave.
The bitter, bitter tears of gun controllers taste sweet!
People often get that commercial wrong... Mikey hated everything... that he liked Life cereal spoke about how good it tasted... the kids thought it would taste bad because it was good for them... if Mikey who hates everything likes it, then it must taste good... sorry, i couldn’t help myself...
But it was a good night for everybody else!
“Burn” on those 2 senators!
The parody version in my head is...way out there.
We won — by a thin margin. Would’ve been unthinkable in the old days. With teachers cranking out another generation of brainwashed students, eventually we’ll start losing these elections. Then we’ll see.
“He is . . . well . . . short.”
OMG that’s the best post ever!
Warms my heart to read this!
Hoping old bloomy has many more terrible nights, for as long as the miserable little troll wanders the earth.
which means it was a good night for America!
Bloomingidiot tried to interfere with another State’s elections. That should be illegal.
