Arab-Americans accuse 9/11 Memorial Museum of discrimination

Tourists visiting the 9/11 Memorial Museum in New York City can read its brochures in 10 different languages – but Arabic is not one of them. Nor will it be any time soon.

“Nine languages are spoken by over 97 percent of our visitors: English, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Mandarin, Italian, Japanese and Russian,” a representative from the memorial told the New York Post.

The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, claiming Arabic is the world’s fourth-most-spoken language, is sending letters to memorial coordinators demanding answers on why the language is not included.

But it appears that the Arabic community is looking for more than just brochures printed in its language. An August AlJazeera.com report describes Manhattan as the area once known as Little Syria:

The lack of Arabic brochures and the apparent exclusion of Arab-American history suggests a pattern of discrimination towards Arabs and Arab-Americans,” Raed Jarrar, communications director for the Arab-American Anti-Discrimination Committee, told Al Jazeera.

Well I accuse all of the arab Americans complaining about our 9/11 memorial as being racist and bigoted... I accuse them of supporting our enemies and of being traitors to our Republic.

The Koran is written in Arabic, and it’s loaded with discrimination. I suggest these morons start there.

““Nine languages are spoken by over 97 percent of our visitors: English, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Mandarin, Italian, Japanese and Russian,” a representative from the memorial told the New York Post.

The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, claiming Arabic is the world’s fourth-most-spoken language...”

One can conclude from those two facts that Arab-speakers just aren’t very interested in visiting the memorial.

If they have to ask then they have a very short memory on what happened there 12 years ago.

"Arab-Americans accuse 9/11 Memorial Museum of discrimination."

..... Well then ..... I accuse Arab-Americans of discrimination against the 9/11 Memorial Museum.

And that's how that eternal, never ending game of political correctness is played. Well, with the exception that nobody ever responds with a counter accusation because of fears of political incorrectness.

The reason there are no Arabic signs at the World Trade Center site may be because the management knows something about the future of Arabs, just as did the writers of Star Trek (there are no Arabs in Star Trek because it is set in the future).

Well this is right in line with our President who reminded us in 2010 of the following; "And here in the United States, Ramadan is a reminder that Islam has always been part of America and that American Muslims have made extraordinary contributions to our country."

Of course, if we are talking about what came before the World Trade Center, the section that was razed was known as "Radio Row" and was mostly the Jewish-owned electronics stores. Interesting juxtaposition, right?

Arab-Americans accuse....
= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

If an Arab-American marries an African-American would their children be Arab-American-African-American?
And if one of their children marry an Irish/Italian their children would be.....

Whew....I am glad I am just an American. Simpler that way.
Unless you are first generation American, DROP THE HYPHEN.

And if African-Americans realized what African-Africans REALLY think about them, they would drop the African in a heartbeat.

HOWEVER, BO is a TRUE African-American..... of course the real curve ball would be if *Gary Player were to obtain citizenship he would also be an African-American - that should make the race monger heads explode.

*Gary Player — interesting, as he is known as “The Black Knight”.

Meanwhile there is no love of Christianity much of the holy land. Long conquered and suppressed.

Leaving out a language is discrimination? How many languages are there spoken in the world today? They expect every piece of government paper to be in all languages (I know, not really, just arabic).

How many other countries are these people going to sue for not including arabic in their literature? How many other foreigners can sue because something isn't printed in their language? Is this the epitome of insanity? (no, that would be mooselimbs calling for "peace"....)
