The government on Tuesday authorized establishment of a committee that will examine ways to eliminate cash from the Israeli economy—the better to prevent citizens from cheating on their taxes. The committee will be chaired by Harel Locker, director of the Prime Minister’s Office.

I remember reading that there were clay tablets found all over the Middle East for centuries. You could find them along any road you walked on. The cuneiform writing on them was unknown until some smart guy deciphered them in the 1800’s. They were tax records................
I thought Norway or Sweden already have.
Already in this country having a large sum of cash is reason for suspicion of drug deals and can be confiscated.
