Does Aaron Alexis Represent A New Breed of Killer?
American Thinker ^ | September 20, 2013 | Jack Cashill

Posted on 09/20/2013 3:52:37 PM PDT by neverdem

In the search for parallels to explain Aaron Alexis's killing spree at the Washington Navy Yard on Monday, the media have turned reflexively to recent incidents in Aurora, Colorado, and Sandy Hook, Connecticut.

Almost no one in the media, however, has made the obvious comparison to Christopher Dorner, the former Los Angeles Police Department officer who killed four people and wounded three others in a ten-day spree last February that ended with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Although the most visible point of comparison is race and gender -- black and male -- both were born in New York City within a month of each other in the spring of 1979, graduated high school, attended college, moved more or less comfortably in the larger integrated world, and joined the Navy Reserve.

Most saliently, both Dorner and Alexis were mentally unbalanced. In a different time and place they might have blamed themselves, their lovers, or their parents for the demons that haunted them, but the two came of age in what might be called the post-Roots era. From the beginning, they have always had a way to account for their misfortunes that spared them introspection.

Published as nonfiction in 1976 and produced as a spectacularly successful mini-series a year later, Roots: The Saga of an American Family gave progressives the perfect pedagogical tool with which to instruct their less enlightened brethren in the quiet horrors of American culture. In fact, it quickly became the dominant narrative, a curriculum standard, a veritable sacred text...

No, same old new world order sleeper-type designed to create mayhem and drive the sheeple to accept gun confiscation.

In their growing dissatisfaction with a largely white establishment, Dorner and Alexis were not unique. A comprehensive poll taken by NBC News and the Wall Street Journal this summer showed that Obama failed in the one area in which even the opposition hoped he would succeed: bridging the racial divide. In the month of his inauguration, sixty-three percent of blacks held a favorable view of race relations in America. By July 2013, those figures had fallen to thirty-eight percent, a calamitous decline, rarely addressed, never explained.

On average, blacks think they are superior in every way and are not at the pinnacle of every field only because of the white man's racism. Blacks expected Obama to be greeted with a chorus of hosannas. That there's been any criticism of Obama's policies is evidence, in their view, that whites are irredeemably racist. And that is why they have an unfavorable view of race relations in America. If that saintly genius Obama isn't immune from criticism, what chance does the ordinary hyper-competent black person have of making it in American society?

Pieter, and a lot of serious Christians, are looking beyond the limn of this world when saying this. It’s one of the follies that devils drive. There may not even BE a distinct human conspiracy to this effect. And hell does not care if there isn’t one. Hell is more clever than people and it’s egotism personified anyhow.

I don’t know how much racial grievances motivated the Navy Yard Shooter. I do know that race propagandists like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, etc. do all they can to keep these racial grievances alive and inflamed.

When roots aired in the 70s, it was very dangerous to be a white person in the DC-area public schools. I remember having to avoid groups of people in the hallways and former friends that would not talk to me anymore. I was just a kid, but those times left me with some very powerful memories. Those memories served me well later on as it allowed me to avoid bad situations as they were developing. There’s no point in denying the black mark that is slavery upon this country and mankind in general. However, it’s time to get on with the present extending to everyone you meet the treatment that you in turn would like to receive. It’s called the “Golden Rule” and it’s a good way to live.

I don’t know, when I hear “mind control”, “sleeper”, and “New World Order”, those are bywords of quite particular conspiracy theorists. Not just a Christian who thinks the devil is out causing mayhem.

The most additive drug in the world is an excuse for your own shortcomings...

The side effects is the perpetual grudge that can lead to homicidal rage.

The posterchild was Nazi Germany post WW1 lost blaming it on a Jewish conspiracy.

The black man is the same as any man and has the same failing as any man..

its human nature and human nature is a double edge sword

Well ultimately Pieter will need to speak for himself. I’d ask for good evidence that some mere human conspiracy put the shooter there to precipitate more foolish versions of “gun control.” I’d very easily believe the devil wanted it and had legions of demons on the case. The conspiracists may in fact BE onto a scheme of hell, but are attributing it to people not to demons.

Incidentally... it may be that certain radical anarchist groups may have actually dreamed up schemes like this. That wouldn’t mean they actually managed to put this guy here. It might simply mean that they got some gossip that was literally from hell, and hell may have even wanted them to indulge in their own egotism. I say this as a frank supernaturalist and I don’t think I have any weird theory here, I believe things that are preached in all serious churches though maybe not taken very seriously.

I’ve read he used the name Mohammed something or other on “social media”.

That sort of seals it right there.

I have no specific info on this case, I'm just considering a few patterns:

A) documented (printed in newspapers, congressional testimony, etc.) patterns of activities of CIA (e.g., the idea of "programmable" killers, all sorts of bizarre assassination methods, mind control experiments, etc.)
B) the plethora of documented connections between the CIA and, exclusively, the financial oligarchy, i.e., the American "eastern establishment"
C) the fact that the above is kept quiet in a coordinated fashion by government, the educational establishment and the news media; the only references made are to label anyone who speaks of them as a nutjob

For example, the predecessor of the CIA, the OSS, was run out of Rockefeller Center in NYC, and its key leadership had careers on Wall Street in either finance or law, or had direct family ties to the same. The real power was with a relatively tiny set of people or their loyal associates, and that fact continues to be true today.

The interested reader must research this type of history on their own instead of taking my word for it; of course they will have to sort through what is documentable (has a source, etc.) and what is not.

Interesting thing I found on the web, while searching: apparently Dartmouth has a "Nelson A. Rockefeller Center for Public Policy", obviously endowed by Nelson. IMHO, there is no rational reason why the Ivy League and the various large, old foundations should be so fixated on the CIA. Nelson's namesake "public policy center" is apparently still are involved with the CIA, helping to recruit at Dartmouth:

No. Drawing broad conclusions from any one incident/crime is stupid.
