The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has awarded $25,000 that will go to the construction of benches made of garbage for a park in Tijuana, Mexico.
According to an EPA press release, the agency joined the San Diego Center for Civic Engagement in awarding $45,000 to 4Walls International for the construction of park spaces that will use trash pulled from the Tijuana River Valley as building materials. …

Why are we worried about our children and grandchildren sinking under the crushing national debt, when these spendthrifts are building park benches in Mexico and the National Park Service is making a film about how Islam has promoted women’s rights. Apparently, this government has money to burn.
They should make statues of John McCain and Marco Rubio using the Tijuana River trash instead.

25k? Why not just make the benches out of compressed dollar bills. It wold be less expensive and people could then say, “I’m sitting on a pile of cash!”.
