Report Claims Obamacare Will Subsidize as Many as 111,500 Abortions Per Year

President Barack Obama’s health care overhaul will likely subsidize between 71,000 and 111,500 abortion per year, according to a new report from the Charlotte Lozier Institute, a pro-life think tank.

The report explains that the abortions will be subsidized via federal premium tax credits and Medicaid expansion.

CLI’s Chuck Donovan explains how this is possible under the new health care law:

Passage of [Multi-State Plans] required one other major finesse from Democrats on the Hill. In order to deal with the abortion coverage MSPs might provide, the law stipulated that each state must have at least two MSPs and that at least one of them must be a plan that confines its abortion coverage to situations defined by the Hyde Amendment, which are, to simplify a bit, cases of rape, incest, or where the life of the mother is in danger.

While the law provided no specific assurance that the other MSPs (one or possibly many more) would cover elective abortion, it has seemed clear from the start (and blisteringly obvious from observing its past patterns) that the Obama administration would ensure that abortion-covering state plans (let’s call them ASPs) would be available everywhere possible (especially inasmuch as the MSP program might ultimately prove a gateway to single-payer).

Approximately 5.57 million girls and women “potentially gain coverage for abortion under ObamaCare,” the report said, “split roughly equally between Medicaid expansion and exchange insurance that covers elective procedures.”

“If 2% of all women of childbearing age have abortions each year, an estimated 111,500 girls and women who will have abortions in coming years will have new coverage in effect for them,” it adds. Additionally, if one third of women who are newly privately covered for elective abortions file for them, that could add an additional 18,397 to the number of abortions being paid for each year by Obamacare.

.The group also estimates that publicly funded abortions will increase as much as 53,000 (with increases occurring primarily in New York and California).

“Taken together, the data suggest that ObamaCare’s annual net increase in insured abortions that are either fully publicly funded through Medicaid or heavily subsidized through the exchanges could be as high as 71,000 to 111,500,” the report reads, “depending on how many girls and women forego insurance and pay out-of-pocket.”

This is the real evil in Obamacare, the further institutionalizing and funding of the great national sin.

Years back I read a detailed study on infanticide (what abortion is).

Its hypothesis was if abortion was illegal since 1978.

They projected that algore would have won in a landslide in 2000. Due to the fact that 2/3 of infanticides are done by d-rats. And blacks kill FAR more of their babies than whites do. It was an interesting read.

Heartbreaking that our tax dollars pay for the slaughter of innocent unborn babies.

Planned Parenthood gets, pre Obamacare, 540,000,000 taxpayer dollars per year.

Obama spoke at Planned Parenthood of Texas a day after going down to speak with the survivors of the West explosion, during the Texas Leg. fight to criminalize abortions after 20 weeks of gestation.

Wendy Davis fame.

There are 55,000,000 abortions registered through these mills since 1973.

There are 1,300,000 abortions in this country per year.

Anyone stupid enough to think Obamacare is paying for only 111,000 per year should not vote.

So I get to help pay for over a million deaths during the next decade. It gives new meaning to participatory government.

This will be only a drop in the bucket of the Obamacare body count. I really don’t think most people have the emotional capacity to realistically assess the true nature of this regime. Think “Stalin and Hitler were amateurs” and you’ll be getting in the neighborhood of what Obamacare has lined up for Americans.

One million dead the first year, and worse from there as long as we allow it. Mark my words, if you’re still here then to remember them.

ObamaCare is simply another of the liberals’ Bait & Switch maneuvers that puts money in the hands of the Democrats’ rich liberal backers - just like the ‘meanspirited’ ‘anti-GREEN-fluorocarbons’ (ie the freon of your old cars’ A/C units) “crisis!” that calculated to being more money for DuPont.

The liberals bellow that “millions are without *health coverage*” -— that is portrayed, with the help of liberal media (now Palace Media) imagery, into being “millions are without *health care.*

Yet, millions are *NOT* without health care.

In fact, very few people are without health care ... except for some older folks.

Older people -— about whom the liberals have made a great stink *during election cycles* but are otherwise ignored. (Much the same way as prison conditions are front page news at The Palace Media when a Republican is President, but otherwise a source of humor and jest for liberal chatter and media.)

So why do liberals so rabidly react to any effort to rid the country of the Ominous Burden of ObamaCare?

Because, again, this issue is *NOT* about people getting *HEALTH CARE.*

Indeed, the answer is, that this issue is about GOVERNMENT becoming a much larger part of, AND LIBERALS taking more control of, peoples’ daily lives.

ObamaCare is also just another government corporation in desperate need of a bailout ... BUT *BEFORE* its own start date!

"The presumed irrationality of the public is a pattern running through many, if not most or all, of the great crusades of the anointed in the twentieth century--regardless of the subject matter of the crusade or the field in which it arises. Whether the issue has been 'overpopulation,' Keynesian economics, criminal justice, or natural resource exhaustion, a key assumption has been that the public is so irrational that the superior wisdom of the anointed must be imposed, in order to avert disaster. The anointed do not simply happen to have a disdain for the public. Such disdain is an integral part of their vision, for the central feature of that vision is preemption of the decisions of others."

Well, this is not a surprise, after all Men’s health care now includes all Women’s only items. Can’t we all just be alike and get the same Health care for all!

After all, can’t Men get pregnancy tests? Can’t men undergo sonograms - okay maybe for different things - Well, I don’t really want to get into the Men’s problems that are not covered... Geez, this whole idea of a common Health plan is ridiculous!

You’d think that in the 21st Century that they would understand that Men and Women have different health problems because they are “different” but no... let’s have the same health insurance policies... Idiots!
