On Sunday, Breitbart News Editor-at-Large Ben Shapiro discussed the launch of a new website that will seek to "change the nature of media" by exposing the donors and advertisers that enable the mainstream media to distort the truth and push their agendas with no accountability, especially when it comes to their bottom lines.
Shapiro will lead TruthRevolt.org, which will launch on Monday to expose the mainstream media and unmask leftists in the media for who they are, destroy their credibility with the American public, and devastate their funding bases."
Appearing on Breitbart News Sunday on Sirius XM Patriot channel 125 with Breitbart News Executive Chairman and host Stephen K. Bannon, Shapiro said those who "bankroll" and enable the mainstream media to lie and "push their agenda" must "be made aware that the American public is not going to stand for this bullshit."
He simply said there has to be a "price to pay for that."
Shapiro said TruthRevolt will be billed as the "anti-Media Matters." He emphasized that Media Matters has tried to destroy the careers of conservatives who are truth-tellers and TruthRevolt will "turn that around and go after the liars of the left-wing" and the mainstream media.

Sounds like a worthy endeavor.
I’ll believe it when Breitbart stops carrying leftist advertizers.
There is much dishonesty in that claim, but I'm quite sure it puts a smile on Obama's face.
“Sounds like a worthy endeavor.”
The left used similar tactics to expose supporters of traditional marriage; the right should do the same.
Looooooong overdue...
Just Registered
That is why we have the “new media”.
But, that is not where my mind wanders this morning in regards to this discussion. It wanders to the First Amendment. Does Freedom of the Press mean these journalists, and I use that term loosely, have the Right to push propaganda? When they present opinion pieces and interviews as news to forward an agenda is that not fraud?
Just as Freedom of Speech does have a redline (LOL), like yelling 'fire in a crowded theatre,' does Freedom of the Press? We often say the government can't censor the Press as this laymen's article notes, "In other words, the government does not have the right to try to control or block certain things from being published by the press," The First Amendment and Press Freedom.
We often say the press is carrying the progressive agenda. Does the Press have the Right to lie to the American people? In fact I'd dare say now as often is displayed the Press gets their talking points from the government and while the government may not exactly be accused of censorship, they are controlling the message from the Press.
When we here the exact same phrases used, the exact same words and meme from reporter to reporter is this not evidence of a form of censorship? And when the journalist or news agency agrees to carry this propaganda to defraud the public is this not a violation of First Amendment? The whole idea behind a Free Press isn't to just protect the Press. The amendment is there to protect, We the People, from a dishonest, controlling government.
AS IF they are infallible, morally superior and absolutely objective.
THAT hasn't been the case for a VERY long time.
This is the fight wher Free Republic can make its mark. We are denizens of the web and all the media that entails and our attention shod be turned full blast on the media that is tipping the scales of government in this country.
Let’s take them down.
When the shooting starts, the press better duck.
Sign in the window of my truck...
The Media Lies.
“Kill all the journalists first!”
Shakespeare would be labeled a terrorist if he penned his works today.
Oh, they just made an honest mistake.
Kill all the journalists first!
You have to remember it is the lawyers who have destroyed our freedoms but journalists have helped.
For the record, who is one of the Brietbart leftist advertisers?
If they are advertising there, doesn’t that by definition counter your claim?
On topic, he is espousing the battle Media Research Center has been waging for years and the MSM still is.
Anout time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Breitbart is using ad managers, who aim their ads quite independently of what the sites are doing. Thus, here in Norway, I typically get political ads from Labour (deep red socialist) and affiliates.
And from socialist newspapers.
